Chapter #56Skip to after the test. by: Jezimoon   The test was brutal. 'Asuka' and 'Yumi' had spent all day reviewing and studying the day before, and they both had a lot of trouble. Roy took full advantage of having Asuka's memories to pass the test, because it was all high level science stuff that she would normally have no clue about. However, Asuka with Yumi's memories actually managed to score higher than Roy as Asuka had.
"Oh come on Asuka, I only got like 10 points more than you… don't feel disappointed. You did great!" Asuka said as Yumi.
"Yeah, I just feel like I could have done better, I let you down… If I fail these tests it's your life I'm messing up after all." Roy said in her cute female voice, brushing her long auburn hair aside.
"It's your life right now, keep that in mind. I'm having plenty of fun living as Yumi, you should enjoy living as me!" Asuka said in a rather feminine way with her male voice.
"Well I guess you're not in my next class, so I'll see you in an hour ok?" Roy smiled.
The two parted ways for their separate classes, and Roy once again sunk into the role of Asuka, letting her memories completely take over her actions. She paid very close attention to the lecture, and took very well organized, neatly written notes. She then barely felt a vibration from her purse, as she got a text from Roy.
"Hey cutie, you ace your test?" He wrote.
'Asuka' blushed and hid the phone's screen in case anyone saw her. She felt herself have butterflies in her stomach thinking about Roy. It's been so long since I've gotten this excited for texts from a guy… This is like a high school romance all over again. 'Asuka' sighed and realized she was giddy as a schoolgirl around Roy, and already missed him being around. She had to remind herself that it wasn't the real Roy, it was Yumi's body, but he acted just like Roy… She didn't even want to acknowledge to herself that she used to be the original Roy.
"No… I didn't quite ace it, but I passed at least." She typed, and then added, "You on your lunchbreak? I miss you…  "
Crap I need to focus on class, Roy is way too distracting… I'll see him later today anyway.
After class, 'Asuka' once again met up with 'Yumi' and they hugged. There was a part of Roy who still saw 'Yumi' as Asuka's body and wanted to kiss his girlfriend, but 'Yumi' wasn't her girlfriend, it was her best friend. As long as she had Asuka's memories, that's all she could see Yumi as right now.
"So I'm headed back home now, do you want to come over?" 'Yumi' asked.
"Oh! Um… well I was hoping to see Roy later… I mean…" 'Asuka' stumbled.
'Yumi' giggled at her, "Come on, you aren't still obsessing over him are you? You can spend some time away from him and hang out with me, right? I mean you remember who we really are?"
"Umm… yeah I do. I just… I really miss Roy, but I guess it'll be fine. The only difference is when you're Yumi we can't… you know?" 'Asuka' said quietly.
The fake 'Yumi' just smiled and got in the car.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
