So we are following a young male? He's fully grown and got some experience. He has a long mane of hair that he's braided and tied up. He wore a hide bracelet on both wrists and arms. He was walking along a valley when he saw the portal. Curious he approached and when close it pulled him in! He yelped and tried to stop, but the force was too strong he was pulled in and deposited in a valley similar to the one he'd been in. He grumbled softly and rubbed his head. The portal was gone, but something didn't feel right. The valley was a different shape... And it looked smaller! He walked on, looking around cautiously and sniffing the air... Something caught his attention... A living animal that he had never smelt before. Curious, he followed the scent. Not knowing that it was humans he could smell.
So his first contact with humans happens to be....
