White waved a hand, dismissing the thought of returning for the moment. "My body knows what its doing! I'm a genius, after all! And since that doohickey lets me spread my genius around, why not let Mia have some of it?" he said. "Besides, Fey might have more on me than she seems. I ought to do some investimagating or whatnot!"
Not to mention, he could make plenty of problems for Mia while hijacking her body. He could certainly land her in enough trouble that he would be the last thing on her mind.'Although I guess right now I'm all that's in her mind!' He gave the thought a laugh, looking back down to the remote. "Oh what a splendiferous find you turned out to be!"
Redd spent a little while longer looking in the mirror at his new face. He loosened up Mia's scarf and began testing his voice. "Aaaaaa, eeeeee, oooooo, uuuuuuu," he tested out vowel sounds. He posed in the mirror with Mia's arms crossed under her chest, trying to look like she did. "I am Mia Fey, an annoying and useless attorney! I am so much better off with Mr. White making my decisions," he had her finish with a smile and a giggle.
Twirling around, Redd plopped himself down in Mia's chair. This whole office was an eyesore compared to his, but it was an injustice he'd have to put up with for the moment. He kicked off her shoes and rested her feet on the desk as he pulled up her cell phone and went through the contacts.
"Marvin, Maya, Phoenix, eh," those were the three names she seemed to have called the most. Redd recognized the first - Grossberg. Grossberg was under his thumb; if he called him over then he could probably turn the man to Redd's point of view. "Maybe he'd like a new body," Redd said as he looked down to the one he currently inhabited. "Mia certainly wouldn't be giving me trouble if that whale was at the helm." He chuckled at the thought; it'd be so horrible! He didn't recognize the second name at all, so calling her would be a tossup, but he supposed that it'd be an opportunity to burn one of Mia's bridges. The last name was curious - Phoenix. From the sound of it, Mia was expecting this fellow when Redd came in. Was he maybe investigating with her? Redd was tempted to call him to find out what he knew. The risk would be that he'd probably have to act like Mia, but he was sure he could manage it. 'I've always been a great dramaturge after all!'
Otherwise, Redd could set about finding Mia's home. It'd certainly be a boring night if he went back to whatever peasant abode she stayed in, but there was always the possibility she had more information stashed away there. If not, well, he could likely find some way to entertain himself with her body.
