Having just finished their internships, Class 1A returned to school resuming the typical UA schedule. Everyone was in class, sitting through one of Eraserhead's lectures. Being the dutiful student she was MomoYaoyorozu attentively took notes unlike Mina Ashido and Denki Kaminari who both seemed to be lost in a daze. However something odd happened to Momo distracting her from the lesson. A sharp sensation originated in Momo's stomach. Beads of sweat formed on Momo's forehead which she desparately tried to be clandestine. Momo was uncharacteristically relieved when class concluded.
"Hey Momo!" Mina greeted
"Oh hey." Momo responded as the other girls clustered in.
"Tough lesson huh?" Mina implied.
"Well I have to admit I was having a bit of trouble focusing today." Momo confessed.
"That's okay, everyone struggles at some point." ochako reassured.
The girls continued their banter in the halls were they all casually bought snacks from a vending machine. While the girls ate at a normal pace, Momo was rather forceful shoving the food in her mouth.
"Wow that was quick Momo."Tsuyu croaked.
"Yes, well I'm just a little hungrier than normal." Momo informed returning to the vending machine.
"Anywayyyyy, everyone else excited for Midnight's class?" Mina brought up.
"Oh yeah, she'll be personally testing our quirks." Ochako chirped.
Momo meanwhile was steadily snacking from the vending machine.
"Whoa Yaoyorozu, you're really scarfing those down." remarked Jirou.
"I-I just skipped breakfast today so I'm making up for it." Momo lied too embarrashed to admit her hunger.
"Hey, we're gonna be late." Tsuyu reminded everyone.
The snacks did little to sooth Momo's stomach. Even changing into her costume in the locker room, Momo's stomach remained relentless, demanding more nourishment. While everyone else was enthusiastic about Midnight's lesson, Momo was lethargic, preferring to lounge on a couch eating ice cream.
The girls met up with the boys and entered the training grounds.
"Alright everyone." Midnight shouted cracking her whip "Show me what you got."
