Strapped to a bed, unable to move even a little

Nathan stirred when he was trying to escape a wild screaming pack of nurses that were hunting him up a never ending flight of stairs. He raced and jumped but they were closing the gap on each floor but his legs felt heavy. Suddenly he reached a landing with a locked door. Pounding on it and rattling the knob did not help. He turned on the spot facing the nurses and froze in fright. But there was nobody behind him. Instead he opened his eyes and saw a white ceiling. His heart was pounding from the nightmare and he still did not dare to move. It was absolutely silent in the room. Carefully he tried to move his arm but he could not move it at all. It was the same with his legs. He managed to rise his heavy head and saw the predicament.

Three pairs of bare feet, the right foot ankle to ankle over a left foot, were wrapped tightly. The single foot of the two persons on the side was tied separately. He saw four pairs of bare legs disppearing under the same white long nightie that all four persons were wearing. He was on the edge, next to him was Summer, then Vincent and on the other edge the smallest feet would belong to Mouse. They were all tied tightly on an oversized bed with their arms stretched over the head and fixed with various straps. He realised that three hospital beds were used sideways, allowing four kids to be tied next to each other and the straps disappeared in the gaps between the beds.

There was nobody else in the room. "Hey, wake up. Summer. Vincent. We need to escape." He tried to rub his ankle which was trapped under the foot of Summer to wake her up.
