You cannot think of a single time when a talking snake has been good news in any context. It's probably safe to assume this one won't be any different. You trust your instincts and run as fast as your legs could carry you. the exhibits shoot past and you dodge the moving parts of the snake. Bear seemed mostly bemused by the futility of your actions. Catching a fleeing human in her home would be a piece of cake for the snake. To prove this point she quickly laid out a length of her body to cross your path. It looked thickly packed with muscle, but easy to jump. You didn't hesitate or slow, taking this obstacle in your stride. But Bear was attentive and lifted herself just in time to trip you up. Your graceful jump became a flailing crash. You groaned, grasping your head. The landing stung a little, but not nearly as much as the creeping coiling around your ankle. The snake's head hung where you'd left it with a confused expression.
You felt yourself moving, the large tail of the snake was wrapped around your leg and dragging you back towards her. She leans in with a disappointed frown and sighs. "That wasss very rude, young man." The snake chides. A heavy mass rubs against your legs as the coils holding you recede. You look down but the snake snaps you to attention. "I'm up here! Now, if you want to leave, at least be polite enough to asssk." Not wanting to piss off the giant snake further you play along. "Miss Bear, could I please leave? Humanity is counting on me to defeat the aliens." Her answer was quite unexpected.
"Alwaysss in such a rush. You mussst learn to ssslow down from time to time." More weight brushed against your legs. "Here, let me ssshow you." In a flash your legs were pushed together by her large body. The snake had sneakily wrapped some of her thickest coils around your legs. A single loop was enough and a second one was laid on top to surround most of your torso. You didn't even have time to flail with your arms before they were bound tightly to your body. The wobbly column of human and snake fell over, Bear's body effortlessly absorbing the impact. You were on your side with immensely heavy serpentine coils trapping you up to your shoulders. One last coil was added, this one neatly wrapped around your head. The snake had you constricted in her huge body from head to toe. What followed was a...
