Sibling Sandwich

Blake noticed that it was fairly dark wherever he was. It also felt very cold...sorta like an ice pack. The transformed mage even noticed the familiar scent of ham and cheese. Kinda reminded him of...

Wait...ham and cheese?!

Jade opened her lunchbox as she sat at a vacant table in her school's cafeteria. Her eyes shifted to a delicious-looking sandwich in the corner of the lunchbox, and she eagerly picked it up.

"Blake really knows me well!" Jade said out loud. "I'll have to thank him for making this sandwich!"

Blake's heart almost stopped. He'd been turned into a ham-and-cheese sandwich for his younger teenage sister! As Jade took a bite from the corner of the sandwich, her brother experienced a strange feeling...almost like he'd lost a leg. Fearing a horrible, slow demise in stomach acid, Blake couldn't speak out, but used telepathy to send a message into Jade's mind.

"Jade! It's me, Blake! Don't eat me!!"

But will Jade hear him?
