Josh couldn't help but feel sympathy for his sister and the others bullied by those boys. He realized that he could actually help make Bri's wish come true. At first he thought it would get himself into another situation like the one he was currently in with Courtney, but eventually convinced himself this time a swap could actually help someone and it was the right thing to do.
Josh finally spoke up. "What if I told you I could make that happen?"
"Really? You could come to my school for me and Jenna?" Bri was suddenly beaming.
Like he did with his other sister, Josh explained everything that happened. From the meeting the old lady, to gaining the power, but he did leave out the swaps with Courtney. He didn't really want his siblings to know that the other sister was also swapping with him.
"So you'll come to my school with me?" Bri asked.
"I can't come with you, but I can swap our schools. On Monday, you'll go to high school for me, and I'll take care of your little problem. Then we'll swap back Monday night."
"That's even better!" Bri cheered. "I'll take it." There was once again a flash of light that filled up the room.
"Did it work?" Bri wondered aloud.
Josh knew it did, but had to pretend he did not know since he made not mention of any swapping with Courtney. Playing the part, Josh reached into his book bag (now pink instead of green due to his swap with Courtney) and pulled out a card the size of a credit card. "Here, look at my school ID." He showed her a card with his picture on it. All students in the school district were required to have one for a reason Josh did not know. Below his name was a subtitle saying that he was in the third grade at the elementary school.
"That's awesome!" Bri said. "I'm gonna go get mine." She was back in about a minute, and held up her ID to Josh's face when she did. "See?" His little sister said pointing to the subtitle below her name which said she was a freshman at the high school.
Josh realized there was one fixable error in the swap he had just made. "One more thing, if you're gonna survive a day of high school, you need to have the smarts for it."
"What does that mean?" Bri asked.
"It means we should swap education. This way, you can be as smart as I am and do a good job."
"Okay, I agree." The two siblings swapped education with another flash of light.
"How will we know it worked?" The youngest Mitchell inquired.
Josh tried to think of ways to test his sister. He couldn't remember anything from his algebra class, but reached into his memories of Jenn tutoring him since she was already in geometry instead. He thought of something she told him. "Bri, if x-4=1, then what is x?"
"Easy, 5." She said without thinking. "How did I know that?!?"
"Because you have my schooling now." He explained.
"Sick! Before I go, I have one request."
"What is it?" He asked, scared that she would start asking for random swaps like he was before he told her of the power.
"Let's swap friends! It'll make going to school easier for us, and Jenna will trust you more when your helping her."
Josh realized she was right, and made one last agreement for the night.
Bri didn't have to bother asking if the swap worked this time as a picture that the siblings were standing next to had gone from Josh with his friends Tyler and Steven to Josh with Bri's friends Emily and of course Jenna.
"Okay, are we done here?" Josh questioned toward his sister.
"Uh huh, thanks Joshie!" She said before leaving his room.
