Chapter #4Towns of Albion by: Falcon  Goldness, a Norse settlement by the northeastern edge of Andredesweald Forest in the Crownlands, right next to the Bay of Kings. Inhabited mostly by Norse, but also native Albish:
- Tryggr, the Governor of the settlement.
- Azar, a Calormene merchant who operates her trading-network on behalf of the Crown.
- Petra, a huntress who is always busy with hunting for hides and food, but also keeping the surrounding area safe from predators.
-- Wallace, a tanner and the younger adopted brother of huntress Petra. He and Petra provide hunting and tanning services to the residents of the settlement.

--- Sif, wife of Alvar. Due to her husband constantly working on his longship, much to her annoyance, she has to tend to the farm alone, making sure the crops were harvested on time.

--- Sylvi and Knud, their mischievous daughter and son.

-- Gotafrid Fair-robes, a celebrated Drengir who kept his dignity both in battle and in his equipment's upkeep. Retired after amassing a substantial amount of wealth. Wields a big axe and a shield.
-- Nokkfylla Shine-Eye, a drengir prone to sudden but strong bouts of mental unease. Lives isolated in an abandoned, collapsing watchtower west of Goldness. Wields a large axe.
-- Orwig Never-death, a drengir who doesn't wield weapons, only dual-wields with shields.
-- Skegjold Frenzy-Seeker, a female drengir who wields a sword and a warhammer.
-- Thor the Fish-Monger, a drengir who had settled down to become a spear-fisherman and start a family. Dual-wields with fishing-spears.
--- Aethelswig, Thor's Albish wife.
---- Thor Thorsson, the young son of Thor the Fish-Monger and Aethelswig.
-- Hogne Sea-Tossed, a warrior who had loyally served his Jarl until he was tossed from his ship and thought dead as he drifted in the sea. Now he lives here in Goldness, yearning for a death fit for Valhalla. Dual-wields a sickle-sword and a dagger.
-- Blud the Giant, a female drengr who had served and sailed with her Jarl until his death. Now residing in Goldness, she wants nothing else but her entrance to Valhalla. Dual-wields a longsword and a heavy battle-axe.
Rottingham, a walled-in border-town in central Sherweald Forest in the Dukedom of Westryk:
- Othur Maxwell, the greedy and corrupt Master of Rottingham.
-- Alfrid, the Master's sycophantic Deputy. His cruel and snobbish behavior makes him very disliked by the citizens, who mockingly calls him "Alfrid Lickspittle".
