“Anyway, we’d known each other for years. Turns out you can fall in love with someone you’ve known forever without even knowing it.” Sarah reminisced. “We had our first kiss... just over a year ago? Wait, what date is it?”
“Err... July 3rd.” Tabby informed.
“Ah. More like a year and a half then.” Sarah shrugged. “Fun birthday party that was.”
“Whose?”
“Hers. Started off as a dare, turned into a relationship. Joke’s on the dumb bitch that dared us.”
“Huh. Actually kinda romantic.” Tabby smiled. “Where... is she now?”
“Err, Tabs? I don’t even know where I am.” Sarah scoffed. “On account of the whole kidnapping thing?”
“Oh. Yeah.” Tabby mumbled. “Well... whaddya say we go find her?”
“Find her?” Sarah frowned. “And what, rub it in my face that I can’t be with her any more?”
“Well... who says you can’t?” Tabby said.
“The fact that I’m five inches tall.” Sarah deadpanned.
“Oh, get over yourself. You worked your magic on me.” Tabby dismissed.
“And what, you’re just gonna give me back to her?” Sarah was incredulous.
