"..."
Hajime didn't know what to do. But most of all, he knew that he didn't want to disappoint Mikan.
Maybe taking on the identity of the timid, clumsy nurse wouldn't be so bad, he thought.
"...I'm in. Let's do this, Mikan."
*sniff*
"Wait, why are you crying?" Exclaimed Hajime, rather taken aback by seeing his former face break down like that.
"Nothing, it's just- I'm just so happy, no one's ever wanted to do anything I've suggested before. Thank you so much Hajime!"
"You're, uh, welcome, Mikan" replied Hajime.
Damn, no one's ever even accepted her ideas before It might be harder than I thought to act like her.
"So, uh, what do you want to do now?" asked Hajime, "Should we call it a day?"
"Wait, maybe we should tell each other how to act. Y'know, talk about stuff we normally do so no one finds us suspicious." said Mikan.
"Yeah, you're right. Well, I...."
The two of them spent all night discussing how to pull of pretending to be each other. Mikan finally left her former cottage at 4AM.
She couldn't contain her excitement. Finally, she could confront the other ultimates without even being the slightest bit embarassed. Hajime had always had a calm, collected composure which Mikan was really envious of. But, now, that was essentially HER composure and she would make sure she wouldn't screw up like before.
Hajime on the other hand was extremely unsure of his decision. He wanted to help Mikan out but he wasn't sure if he got the better end of the deal. Actually having an ultimate talent, or atleast being known for having one excited him but he didn't know if he coukd truly act like Mikan without being embarassed.
Don't forget, Hajime. This is for her. You need to make sure she's happy. This is why you signed up for this, right?
Panicked with thoughts like these, Hajime slowly drifted off to sleep.
Hello! My name is Mikan Tsumiki! From the bottom of my heart, I hope we get along.
The scene of meeting Mikan at the supermarket kept repeating in Hajime's mind. He didn't know what it meant, but it kept ringing in his mind. Until he woke up at 12PM.
Just then, the door opened and in came Mikan. or Hajime.
"Hajime~ I had so much fun today! I hung out with Nagito and Chiaki at the beach and I also told everyone that we swapped back! They seemed to buy it! Wait, why didn't you show up to breakfast today?"
"I just woke up" said Hajime. He decided not to tell Mikan about the dream he had.
"Well, Hiyoko might be pissed at you, so watch out for her, and also, there's a party today! Monomi decided to host one so everyone eoulf be together, spending time. Ibuki agreed to play guitar. I wonder what that's going to be like."
"Really? Well, we should go then. It might be fun."
"Yes! We should! Oh, and also, Hajime! I really want you to wear a dress!"
"What?! Why?"
"You'd look really cute! Also, I've always wanted to wear a dress to see what I'd look like."
Damn, she's gotten way more confident. She would never even think about doing this yesterday
