Really putting the "fem" in "femboy" with this one, huh? Well, if Alex wants to look like a woman, then that's what he'll get, whether he wants it this way or not.
But how's that going to happen in the first place? Here are a couple starter ideas:
Committing to the Bit: Without any parents around to try and keep him in check, Alex grows more unhinged in his cross-dressing escapades. It gets to the point where he's seriously considering altering his body to give himself more feminine curves. It may be stretch, and a big one at that, but perhaps he can find a way to use his psychic abilities to trick his brain into producing the chemicals and such needed to induce a makeshift female puberty.
What You Want, Whether You Want It or Not: Alex does genuinely enjoy prettying himself up, but it's not like he actually wants to look more feminine. He's just playing to his strengths in his own way. It's not like his roommate openly wishing he were attracted to a "more female body" is getting to him or anything. Or that said wishing may or may not be somehow causing some interesting...developments in Alex's body. Really, it's not. Really.
