Ann was about to snap her fingers to erase the memory of everyone seeing a gigantic woman when she was distracted by a voice.
"It is you!"
Ann looked around to see a young man coming towards her with a magazine in his hand. The man had average looks and was the average height. He was perhaps twenty or older. The magazine he had featured a photo of Ann taken three or four weeks prior. Seeing the picture brought back memories of the day that particular picture was taken. It was the very day that Ann had officially gone on a date with Joker. After the photo had been taken, she and Joker had gone on a ride in a Ferris Wheel. That's when Ann and Joker kissed for the first time.
Ann made sure that her sunglasses were covering her eyes when the man walked up to her. He spent a minute just looking at Ann before shoving the magazine in her face.
"Can I please have your autograph?" asked the man in a rush. His words were so rushed out that Ann had a hard time even understanding the man. Ann grabbed the magazine and the pen that the man gave her. She flashed the man a smile before opening the magazine to the table of contents.
"Who am I making this out too?" asked Ann.
"Toshiba Yoshi" replied the man. "err...Yoshi Toshiba I mean"
Ann laughed as she signed her name.
"I'm your number one fan" said Yoshi.
Ann nodded vaguely. She heard that all the time.
"Would you like to know --" started Yoshi when other people came over to get Ann's autograph. Ann was soon surrounded by adoring fans. Ann forgot all about erasing the memories of the people who saw a giant girl. Ann signed her name to all sorts of places; in magazines chiefly but she also signed her name on articles of clothing, on a scrap piece of paper, on someone's head, etc.
The crowd that had surrounded Ann soon departed, leaving behind just one person; Yoshi.
"Is there anything else I can do for you?" asked Ann.
Yoshi shook his head before he said, "Would you like to know what part of you I like the most?"
Ann frowned slightly and sighed. It was either her butt or her breasts. Those were the parts that people tended to like about her. Ann could recall numerous times that she and the Phantom Thieves were in Palaces that she had caught the boys (notably Joker) checking out her ass in her skin tight attire that she wore as a Phantom Thief. It bothered her for sure but not enough to tell them off. Boys will always be boys.
"And what would that be?" asked Ann, sighing.
"Your eyes" replied Yoshi suddenly reaching for Ann's sunglasses. Ann stepped away from Yoshi but not before Yoshi managed to pull her sunglasses off of her. "you have really lovely........ eyes...."
Yoshi had looked Ann directly in the eyes. Yoshi's eyes went unfocused as he entered the trance that was triggered by anyone who looked into Ann's eyes.
"Oh bother" said Ann, snatching her sunglasses away from Yoshi. As Ann took the sunglasses away from the young man, she looked at him directly in the eyes.
Ann found herself suddenly in a bedroom. The walls of the bedroom were plastered with countless pictures of Ann. The pictures were all of her photoshoots. It looked as if Yoshi were at almost every photoshoot that Ann had been in. On one wall were the letters that spelled out the words, "Enemies of Ann" and there was a long list of names underneath the words.
Ann gasped and took a step backwards that brought something in a corner of the room visible to Ann. It was a small shrine devoted to her. Although she was flattered by the sight, Ann was also terrified. Yoshi was a stalker.
The vision ended and Ann found herself standing in front of the dazed Yoshi. When she had looked into Yoshi's eyes she also saw that Yoshi would beat up anyone who would dare to insult Ann in any way, no matter how trivial the remark had been.
"Damn it" said Ann stepping even further away. "I told myself I wasn't going to do this...but..." Ann sighed deeply before touching Yoshi's head on either side. She held onto his head as she altered his cognition. It was a piece of cake to rewrite his cognition so that he was no longer a stalker.
Ann removed her hands after perhaps 40 seconds. She then studied Yoshi for a long, silent moment.
"Go on" said Ann, snapping her fingers and the spell that Yoshi had been under was broken.
Ann walked away from Yoshi. Damn that Yoshi for making her rewrite his cognition. But it was for the best. It was then that Ann remembered seeing a Mementos request that had Yoshi's name a few weeks ago. The Phantom Thieves were swamped with requests back then....back when Maruki had these powers.
Ann entered Tokyo and walked passed by a billboard that had "EMMA is coming" on a black background with white lettering. There was a logo of a company called Madicce at the bottom of the billboard. Ann recalled that the CEO of Madicce had appeared on the news a few days ago in an interview all about EMMA, which was advertised as being "the world's smartest A.I."
Ann made herself unnoticeable to the people that were walking on the sidewalks. A few news programs were reporting on the sightings of a gigantic woman. Ann had walked in front of a TV shop that showed amateur footage of a gigantic Ann flying in the sky.
Ann made to snap her fingers to erase memories but changed her mind.
Ann was back in the area of LeBlanc when she caught a glimpse of a cat that looked remarkably like Morgana. In fact, Ann was convinced that it was Morgana! Ann quickened her pace as she passed the alley that led to Sojiro's house.
Morgana had vanished somewhere near the clinic. Ann looked everywhere for the cat Phantom Thief but saw no sign of him.
Moments later, Ann walked into LeBlanc. The coffee shop was empty save for Sojiro who was busy cleaning the counter. The TV was on, filling the shop with noise.
The TV was in the middle of a commercial for the tour that Alice Hiiragi was currently on. The tour was coming to Tokyo in two weeks' time.
Sojiro looked up as Ann entered the shop.
"Hello" said Sojiro in a cheerful voice. "No idea where the others are. When I came to the shop everyone was gone. Didn't even bother on changing the sign to 'closed'....not that it matters"
