You gulp in air and try to prepare yourself for the watery death. You are raised into the air again and dive for the ocean like water. SPLASH, you are instantly submerged into the cold water and try with all your strength to hold your breath, you want to live, don’t let me die like this you beg your mother but she is oblivious to the consequences of her actions. But then as suddenly as you were sentenced to die you are pulled out of the water and once again brought to rest on solid concrete.
Above you thunderous voices bellow, “CATHY, I’M SO SORRY. I DIDN”T KNOW THEY WERE COMING.”
You struggle to look up but can’t see past the tree trunk of your mother’s leg. Karen has returned you can tell because of her voice and by looking to the side you see the painted toe-nails resting on red flip-flops. You try to squeeze your way out while your mom’s foot is wet but it doesn’t last as with immense speed and force you are once again soaring through the air and WAMB are compressed between Cathy’s big toe and the separator of her flip-flop.
Cathy felt rage, how dare he? Todd, her ex-husband and his tramp of a girlfriend, Tina, had shown up. That bastard, wasn’t enough that he left her for that child of a woman but he had to flaunt her to the whole neighborhood. And their daughter was here to see it!
