"I--- I don't know!" Andrew stammered with tears slowly filling his eyes.
Martha's view wandered from above his neck to below his neck several times before saying with a trembling voice:
"This can only be a dream. There's no way to explain... you!".
"B-but I'm real!" Andrew pushed out.
Martha looked intensely at Andrew while getting closer.
When she stood just in front of him she grabbed one of his breasts.
Andrew shrieked and jumped backwards, slipped on the wet ground and fell on his ass.
With questioning eyes Andrew looked up at his mother.
"Looks like you aren't dreaming" she said and then pinched herself. "And me neither", she mumbled, trying to get a grasp on the situation which she considered unbelievable.
"Mom.." Andrew said with eyes so watery that anyone could see that it won't be long till he couldn't keep them to himself anymore.
"Don't worry" Martha said hectically "we...we will get you to the hospital!"
Andrew stood up slowly and asked:
"How can they help me?"
"How should I know?" Martha replied "I just know that I can't help you either!"
Andrew had reached the point where tears were running down his cheeks.
He was just done and burried his face in his palms, sobbing to himself. Still naked in the bathroom.
"He didn't seem so pained a few minutes ago" Heather thought.
"Ohhhh, come here" Martha said embracing Andrew in a hug. Heather couldn't see it but Andrew was now only a little bit taller than Martha.
Andrew wanted to ask his mom how such a thing could happen, if he would change back and much more, but from her reaction it seemed as if she had no clue either.
"Maybe it just goes away" Martha tried to comfort Andrew "do you remember anything before it happened though?”
Andrew lifted his head, sniffed and revealed his tear ridden face and began stuttering:
"I, i was just in my room, read something on my phone, a-and then I just started losing height! And I j-juat slowly turned into th-this.."
After he was done explaining another wave of tears hit his eyes and Martha's embrace became tighter again.
"Shhshhshh, everything will be alright" Martha tried to calm Andrew down.
"How about we just wait and see if you turn back for the next week. If nothing happened till then we go to the hospital".
Andrew sniffed again as nodded silently.
