Pick your preferred shrinking situation,

1. The Waverider suffers a malfunction after Zari performs an update on Gideon's systems, causing the time ship to spin out of control in the time stream. They make an emergency crash landing on Earth 38, where they discover that their ship has been shrunk to the size of a basketball. Shortly after Sara encounters a familiar face, Alex Danvers. However, she isn't alone watching Ruby while her mom is with Lena Luthor. After Ruby takes an interest in the Waverider Alex asks Sara if they'd mind helping her babysit and play with Ruby for her while they make repairs.

2. Barry seeks out Wally's help after encountering a situation that demands the attention of two speedsters working in unison to resolve. So he asks Cisco to help him by building a device that would allow him to teleport on board the Waverider. However, a miscalculation on Cisco's part lands Barry on top of Zari's bed at an inch tall.

Edit 6/25/21- adding additional choices here to cut down on choice chapters. Since choice 3 already has follow-ups.

4. While stopping what Kara believed to be a standard bank robbery, Supergirl is caught off guard when a crook brandish's an obviously Alien weapon, protecting a teller with her own body. She is caught in a miniature wormhole, waking up in the town of Freeland with a giant Anissa dressed as Thunder towering over her.

5. Black Lightning's powers are on the fritz, causing him to pass out at random times due to a serious decrease in energy, however, he's shocked when he wakes up in a strange underground lair, on top of a chair belonging to Felicity Smoak.
