Wave had been completely exhausted from all her work on building, repairing or modifying the team’s Extreme Gear to the point she fell asleep and failed to realise she needed to use the bathroom, which led to her having an accident and would try to cover it up as a lemonade stain that she spilt. One time, Storm accidentally walked in while wanting Wave to check on his board, only to find her on the floor, asleep. Before he could put a blanket on her, Storm spotted that she had a wet patch on her pants. Eventually, one day, Storm told Jet about what he discovered before they both agreed on something.
Wave was walking into her lab one day when she spotted a suspicious package on her table before realising what it was: Diapers. Annoyed, Wave sees a note on top before grabbing it to read it. “‘If you’re gonna end up falling asleep in the lab, put one on.” She said. It was in Jet’s writing. “If you don’t, then we will make you. Storm is getting sick of cleaning up your mess.’” She scrunched up the note in anger. “This has got to be a joke. So what if I have a little accident now and then?” She throws the note aside before looking at the packet of diapers, wondering what she should do.
