"Oh no ma'am, I'm—Piper?" came a distinctly familiar tone, "Is that you?"
Piper looked up at the mention of her name, having never expected to run into anyone here who would have known her. But sure enough, there standing above her, was an old face that thought she would have never seen again! It had been so long, but there was no mistaking Cierra Collins—like, the one person who made living in her neighborhood bearable. At least, until she moved on up to Midtown. After she graduated, Piper had to go through a whole year of high school without her! With everything that had been going on, she had almost completely forgotten about her!
"Oh my god, Cierra!" Piper leapt off of the floor with a squeal as she wrapped her arms around her long lost friend, "I haven't seen you in forever!"
"Well, I've been here." the older girl said as she wrapped her soft brown arms around Piper's shoulders and gave her a good squeeze, "Where have you been? You, like, dropped off the face of the earth!"
Piper hadn't much time for social interaction with everything that had been going on in her life. What with the divorce and the pregnancy and dealing with it all in her own patented "fuck you stay out of my business" way. It had been a hard year! In her defense though, Cierra was already a year older than Piper. She had graduated a few months before Piper's dad left. It had just been so hard to make time to see each other, but now... it was just so good to see her!
"Easy girl, I am on the clock you know." Cierra said with a final squeeze before separating herself from Piper, "Can't let my manager think I just come up and molest all our customers."
Cierra was in the exact opposite position as Piper right about now. Her single mother with two kids lucked out and married some computer guy, and it wasn't long until they moved to the better side of town once they could afford it. Why she was working here when her family had more money to play around with than Piper could shake a fist at was another question, but one for a later time.
"So you work here, huh?" Piper raised an eyebrow, "Well I guess that explains the uniform. And the stupid hat."
"You don't like the hat?" Cierra frowned as she took it off her head, "I think it's cute!"
"No, Cee, it's not." Piper shook her head, "Not cute."
"Like a little sailor?"
"No."
It was nice to know that, out of all the changes she'd been facing the past few months, Cierra had managed to stay more or less the same since Piper had last seen her. She had a new hairdo, and she'd filled out a little, but Cierra was still very much the same little street rat that she used to skip classes and loiter with. Cierra's wide hips strained the fabric on her white pants, and Piper could see her breasts spilling over the cups of her bra through her button-up.
"Woah there, what's with the door stopper?" Cierra said as she noticed Piper's order, sitting on the floor, "You hungry, Piper?"
"What? No." Piper laughed, "Just cravings."
"What?" Cierra's brown eyes shot open, "You're pregnant?"
"No no no no, Mom." Piper corrected herself, "Mom's pregnant. I'm just the delivery girl."
"Oh!" Cierra's expression flipped, "Well in that case...
