Shantae takes you into town

"Well, nothing's going to get solved by us just standing here. Why don't I take you to see Uncle Mimic. He usually knows plenty about stuff whenever something crazy goes on. I'll bet he has a book or some old relic related to your condition laying around." The purple haired half genie had an excited and determined look in her eye that made her look like she was ready to take on the entire world. Of course from your point of view, this magical giant pretty much was her own world to you. "Let's go!" she shouted as she closed her hand around you and started to run, forgetting that the thing in her hand was a living being who didn't exactly take well to the constant jerking and shaking as her arm moved back and forth. Thankfully your desperate cries caught her ears quickly and Shantae quickly stopped not too far outside her house. "Whoops! Sorry about that..." the purple haired giantess looked at you with a nervous and embarrassed expression plastered onto your face. The ordeal might have been brief, but it was more than enough to make you very dizzy. But after a minute or so you finally recovered. "I... guess I got a little ahead of myself there." Shantae said still embarrassed. "But you're okay right?" you simply nodded in response, still a bit shaken from her little impulsive start ".... sorry... again." she said sheepishly before continuing her trip, this time MUCH slower and steadier than she initially moved.
The trip to town was thankfully very uneventful. Shantae asked you a few questions about your world, listening with interest as you described everything from the art, to the cultures, to the technology. To her, this all sounded like something out of the old stories her Uncle Mimic used to tell her about. In turn, she returned the favor and described her world, and your world now too you suppose. Magical land or not, you doubted there would be an easy, readily available way to get you back to where you came from. Heck just finding a way to get you in your specific reality out of potentially millions seemed like an overwhelming task. You figured you'd be in Sequin Land for quite a while. Not that this bothered you in the slightest. After all, from what you've seen in the games, this is a beautiful world with a colorful cast of interesting and friendly people. Heck most of the bad guys seemed pretty much sociable from time to time. And it didn't hurt that Sequin Land was home to no shortage of cute and beautiful girls of all shapes and sizes. You picked a great place to be randomly stranded in.
As you finally reached town, Shantae paused and looked down at you, then her own body as if looking for something. "Hmmm..." she uttered as if in deep concerned thought. "Is... something wrong?" you asked her. Shantae only shook her head disappointed. "I'm not sure it would be smart to carry you around out in the open given your condition... but my dress wasn't exactly designed with pockets or any form of storage in mind." she admitted in a nervous tone. Looking back, you saw her point. Aside from the lack of pockets, her revealing belly dancer outfit also made concealing you on her person an impossibility as well. The half-genie pouted as she tried to figure out a solution to this conundrum. Finally she seemed to settle on something. Walking around the gate just outside town, Shantae found a few stacks of boxes and other odds and ends. No one ever seemed to use these and they were pretty much decoration at this point. "This will have to do for now." She thought aloud as she approached them and slowly lowered you inside a pot by the pile. You felt uncomfortable and trapped in here but your guardian quickly reassured you. "This should keep you hidden and safe from monsters and animals. I promise I'll try to figure out a way to sneak you in next time." her awkward smile seemed to melt away your fears as you nodded in response. And with that, Shantae left, leaving you alone in your hiding place. For what seemed like an hour, all you could see was the sky. All you could hear was the wind echoing above. Finally you heard footsteps. Shantae much have finally returned to get you.
Looking up at the opening you were greeted by the smiling face of ________ looking down at you.
