You see her face turn into a huge smile, scaring you a bit. She stood up to her full height only to sit back down on the bed, bringing you closer to her face as she smiled.
‘Tell. Me. Everything” She said excitedly, looking at her you start feeling unnerved at the fangs.
“Uh... come again” you say.
“Tell me everything about the world, where have you been. What was it like? tell me everything!” She said as you felt kind of uncomfortable.
“Uh... can i tell you later.”
“Oh yeah sure... my name is Mavis by the way.” She said as she then placed you down onto her thigh, right over her dress. You landed on her thigh as you look up at her. Unaware to you, Mavis was absolutely gushing over you in her head.
“So why are you so small, and why are you at the hotel?” Mavis asked you thinking those question cant be saved for later.
“I don't really know, i kind of just of woke up in your room, then i saw you fly in as a.... bat and then i decided to get your attention by rubbing you feet. And then you kicked me against the wall.”
“Sorry about that, i just reacted without looking. Your not hurt are you?” Mavis said concerned.
“Surprisingly no” You say honestly surprised. That hit should of done less to you then it actually did.
“Well thats good” She said as you two were left in silence... you could tell what she wanted to ask you as she was biting her lip.
“Ok, fine ask?” You say.
“Where are you from? whats it like there? How are humans, are they nice or mean. Have you seen monsters before? Whats your name? Have you traveled before? If so where have you gone?”
“Uh... (Your hometown), Nice, they can be both nice and mean, no i have not, my name is (Your name), yes i have, multiple places to tell” You reply.
“Like where, Like Hawaii” She said.
“Hawaii?” You repeat. She then in an instant, disappeared from the bed and went over to a hidden chest. In the meantime you fell on the bed as you were amazed at the speed she had. She opened the chest and showed you a postal card from Hawaii. On her knees you can see the smile she has behind the paper.
“I haven't been there before, but it looks beautiful. With all the beaches, and the water and the resort” She said pointing to the note, almost like she's never been there and only knows about it from the note. “Well have you been there?”
“Uh... no but I've always wanted to go. Like as a vacation or a holiday? Speaking of which... you said i was at a hotel?”
Mavis stopped as you can tell whats going through her mind... she was wondering if she should tell you about the hotel. I mean sure you know but your just wondering if she will trust you with the knowledge.
