You plan to use this girl and get her attention. Seeing as you don't really know her you don't really know whether she will even be interested in helping you grow big. But it's better than trying to survive among the whole school of giant shoes and Godzilla sized kids!
You run up and hug the back of her sneaker. Grabbing onto it and jumping into the small hole right behind her foot. It would seem you did this just in time as she got up and started walking to her class. You want to climb her leg but your gonna wait until she stops moving. Minimise the risk of dying. Eventually you made it to the classroom as the teacher Mr. Devine turned to the door.
“Thalia Halpert-Rodis, I must admit I'm getting sick of you being late. Once I can forgive but you've done it far too many times.”
“Sorry Mr Devine I just had to take care of something. I promise I'll be on time next time.” The blonde girl called Thalia said.
“See that you do.” The teacher Mr. Devine said annoyed “Get to your seat now.”
Thalia walked into the already packed classroom and sat down in the front row, passing her sixth grade classmates on the way there as they made fun of her, much to your shock due to her constantly wearing makeup and lipstick everyday in school.
You expected her to be the popular girl, with a squad of good looking girls in the very back row. Instead not much people seemed to care about her. Making fun of her ridiculous use of makeup.
As Thalia sat down as you now needed to stop caring about her status at the school. Deciding to move up you start climbing her right huge shoe. She wasn't wearing anything over her legs as you start climbing her leg. As soon as you touched it, you became amazed at the coat of makeup over it.
Just like her face she must of polished a lot on her leg. You can get the face but this is getting absurd. Regardless you keep climbing and plan to get up onto her lap. From there you shouldn't have much trouble getting her attention. You start climbing ignoring everything the teacher was sprouting about, it was something about fractions but you didn't care enough to listen properly. Who knows maybe once you get her attention you can bargain with her to help with her studies. Hopefully.
While climbing up you failed to notice what was happening to the leg you were climbing. Under you where you were smearing her makeup of her legs, taking it on you as you start revealing her leg. Her leg now free of makeup showed something that she surely wouldn't want to share.
Her skin...
It was grey, well more monotone then anything. Something that surely wasn't normal and hence why she hid it (You would know why if you've ever read the book)
Regardless you climb up as you try to ignore the makeup you've accumulated. After a while you reached her clothes and climb on top of it, arriving on top of her lap as you look at the beautiful blonde.
