“Im gonna show you my Kart.” Vanellope yelled in happiness. Running away as you struggle not to fall off. Hopefully that doesn't become a habit with this energetic girl. “Its just around this corner. I was working on it before!” She kept running until she got to a hill. She slid down it and landed at the bottom. Walking forward she grabbed you from her shoulder and closed her hand “I present to you, the Lickity Split!” She said proudly. She then brought her hand forward and opened it. There you could see the Kart she owns and well... its something?
It’s base was a wafer bar, it had ice cream cone as a shell and a green cake as the engine. It had a little flag at the back and well... it looked like it wouldn't work for a second. It looks so stupid, and it looks like it would only work in a game...
“So uh. Is it suppose to be... made of snacks?”
“Uh yeah, all the racers karts are like it. here ill take you for a drive. You know hopefully if it works “Vanellope said running up to the Kart. She got into the Kart and placed you down onto her lap. Her Leg’s not even in the car as it looks like it has bicycle pedals.
“This thing doesn't have an actual motor does it?”
“No” She said slyly “But it doesn't need it. I can pedal faster then any of the other racers drive. Here let me sho-” Vanellope got cut off at the sound of other Karts motors. Even worse they were getting closer. “Aw Geez”
“Vanellope whats wrong?” You ask her concerned.
“Nothing just uh... here get in my hood. And try not to make a sound or jump around ok?” She didn't wait for your response as she moved you to her hood. She then got out of the kart and watched as the other racers came in. You watch as about 15 other children Vanellope’s size came in, surrounding her with their carts. They all looked ridiculously cartoony like Vanellope but you were still able to tell this was a bad vibe. You duck into the hood more, still able to see the conversation. One by One the children got out of their karts as you hear your host greet them.
“Hello Friendly Racers!” She said doing a little jump. The Racer’s getting closer quite intimidatingly. Three walking up straight to her “Candlehead, Taffyta, Rancis. Your looking well. Came by to check out the competition huh. Well here it is, The Lickity Split!” She presented her Kart, doing a little dance. “Built it myself. Fastest pedal power this side of the whack a mole. Check her out” She then jumped in the car and turned the pedals, showing that it would work if her Kart wasn't on a stand. She was being friendly.
“Oh Vanellope, its so.... You” And in that statement, you already hated this Taffyta girl. Just her tone and the condescend way she has with her. She even got a pathetic laugh from her cronies “But you have to back out of the race. Yeah”
“Yeah no i don't” Vanellope said standing up for herself. “Ive paid my fees. And I'm on the board so yeah... I'm defiantly racing” Vanellope hit back with so much sass even you felt it. Woo!
“Yeah well King Candy says Glitches can't race” Taffyta said crossing her arms. Your not sure who King Candy was but he sounds like an idiot. And Glitch?
“Im not a Glitch Taffyta. I've just got Pixlexia” Vanellope said Now to every one else they could see Vanellope Glitching while saying this. While you were too close to notice so your still wondering what exactly that means.
“The Rules are there for a reason Vanellope, to protect us” Taffyta said walking pass. You ducked into the hood to make sure you won't be seen by this vile child “Say I'm you” Taffyta said starting a demonstration, jumping into the Lickity Split “In my weird little car, and I'm driving and I'm actually feeling kind of cool for once and then all of a sudden... Gl Gll Glitching!” She said breaking the Karts Steering Wheel.
“Hey” Vanellope said a bit heart broken
“See. Your an accident just waiting to happen” Taffyta finished throwing the steering wheel to the side. While you were glaring at Taffyta you notice another girl walking up. With red hair.
“Oh no, I'm Glitching to!” She joked breaking a part of the kart to.
“What are you doing, your breaking it!” She said angrily. Then all of a sudden a scene broke out that broke your heart. All of the other cronies came up and started breaking the Kart. Holding nothing back. Vanellope with tears in here eyes and pain in her throat was yelling at them to stop. “Please!” She pleaded. “Stop! I just want to race like you guys!” She pulled on Taffyta’s arm and she saw the hurt girl who was begging.
Taffyta decided to finish the job. “You will never be a racer, because your a glitch. And that is all you'll ever be!” She then pushed Vanellope into a pile of mud. Making it the most tragic scene ever.
Vanellope face down you watch as Taffyta turned around to her Kart “Lets get out of here” She ordered. All the Karts then left leaving you, a heart broken girl, and a complete destroyed unusable Kart.
