Have... have you woken up in a giant clothes store. It sounds absurd, because... well it was.
But that was what you were seeing! No doubt about that! Getting up you look around, seeing a weird clothes store. It wasn't that big and seemed to not be a part of a mall or something. It was a single building shop. You could see dresses, jeans, shirts and even some hats. Each of them looking too big for you to wear.
“This is so weird?” You say to yourself looking at the empty building “What am i going to do?”
“Come on Sable, Our hours are about to start!” You hear a loud voice yell. It sounded female and young. Not to mention loud.
“Im coming Mabel” You hear another voice say. Equally femine but not as loud. You see from at the back of the store two people coming into the room.
Due to all around you, you expected them to be giant, but what you wasn't expecting was seeing them as Hedgehogs.
But they were. The first one that came in was a blue and white hedgehog (No not that one) with two orange cheeks on and a single green apron over her body. So pretty much she's naked. She was walking on two feet and was happy.
Behind her was a brown and white hedgehog, with freckles on her face and a pink apron on her body. She seemed taller then the other one slightly, but her demeanour made that harder to see
“Mabel would you stop” You hear the shyer hedgehog say. “We need to make sure everything is fine before we are Open.”
“Relax, Sable. We pretty much know everyone in town, they're our friends and they don't mind” Mabel answered back. Then she walked closer to you and you had to react. Running away you narrowly dodge her stomping down onto you. You move out of the way before the brown hedgehog could stomp you down. Running right under some clothes hanging over you. Watching them you see the blue one flip the sign from Close to Open. “Plus, this is what... like the bajillionth time we've done this. This day’s no different?”
“Yeah but...” The other responded “Just make sure to take care of all the customers. I don't want to” She said as you understand her.
“Seriously sis, its not that bad” Mabel said smiling at her sister. As the older sister, you never would think Sable was the shy one.
Suddenly the door opens and you see a cat walk in. Mabel reacted as she got to work, not before telling her sister. “Just if someone comes to talk to you, just don't run back into the back room. Okay?” She giggled, then moving over to the customer.
You waited there for a hour more, wanting to know your situation before you go. From what you can tell its a family business for these two hedgehogs.
Mabel was the name of the blue one and she was in charge of helping the customers. Talking to them and walking through.
Sable was the name of the brown one and she was just waiting awkwardly at the register. It was obvious she had trouble talking to people. Always stammering and stuttering whenever someone made an order.
You felt kind of bad for her, but her sister kept trying to help her sister. Mabel was a lot more out talkative and people friendly then her sister. While Sable seemed to be very more reserved then her sister.
Both of them were nice but you had to get one of their attentions. Both of them having they're advantages. Mabel was more friendly and welcoming so getting her attention was better. But she was moving around with customers and everything, meaning getting her attention would be much harder.
Sable was by herself and barely moving as a contrast, but you have a feeling she would be lost if she saw you and frankly less dependable.
Sable is the better option for one reason, and Mabel was for the other. Even if you get their attention you have no idea of whats gonna happen next. You don't seem to be on earth and if this world is populated by giant animals. The best you can hope for is staying under they're protection.
Sadly as a pet most likely. Still these girls seemed nice so it might be best to get their attention. Deciding on which one you were going for, you go to ___________
