The first sense to return to you, regrettably, was touch. A soft moan escaped your lips as you felt cold, hard wood throughout your entire front body. You were clearly lying on your stomach. Soon your moan turned into a cough as you attempted to open your eyes, seeing that, yes, you were indeed laying on wood. With no small amount of effort you used your hands to push yourself up, trying to ring together your thoughts.
It wasn't long ago that you had been relaxing at home, taking in the small pleasures that a peaceful moment of time can give before your head got cloudy, and then...? And then...? You rubbed your head, feeling stiffness in your joints that definitely wasn't natural for a man of your age and you started to take in your surroundings. That was when things went from being a little off, to deeply unsettling. You were standing on a wooden plateau that had to be at least 60 feet above the ground, almost an island of wood. Around you, piles of books that dwarfed your pitiful form.
The ground itself also seemed to be wood, and above you a ceiling with a dim light, what could be called your sun right now. Shelves filled your horizon, full of books far larger than you and too far away to read the spines of. This looked to be...a giant's room. A study perhaps? Your heart was racing before you heard something approaching. With a gulp you looked around, hoping to hide from whatever was coming, but no options seemed to be available to you.
Whatever was coming, it looked like you'd need to face it head on. Your head swiveled over to a giant wooden door, practically a gateway of unholy magnitude as, with shockingly little noise, it opened up.
"Oh, you're up little one, thank goodness." The voice that filled your ears was cool, feminine, and kind as you took in the giant...or giantess that stood at the door, as she stared straight at you with gold yellow eyes. A gentle smile played at her white muzzle, framed by purple fur? Wearing what looked to be a formal and elegent, though simple purple dress that led down to red and white heel boots. There was also the fact that she was as tall as a freaking skyscraper! And staring straight at you! She must've seen your look of fear, and with a slight frown she started to approach you. "Don't worry, I have no intention of harming you." She said calmly as she moved towards you at a speed that shouldn't be natural to someone as large as her.
Seeing her fur, the purple ears on her head, and what looked to be a tail swishing behind her, your brain started working again, pumping reason with adrenaline as you realized just who you were dealing with.
