This choice: She sees you and kindly picks you up • Go Back... You watch as the giant young girl brought her head down and looked directly at you. her cat like grin smiling down to you as you were a bit confused. Did she know you were there, like this whole time? her grey pupils scaring you as it feels like they were staring directly into your soul
“Hi there little boy!” She said tilting her head and smiling. Her mouth looking more like a cats the more she did this. While you were frightened and a bit confused, you got to admit she is adorable. Even the rags that she has a dress adds to that.
“Uh Hi...” You say confused before realising the danger that not only you were in, but this giant girl as well. “Listen w-”
“My name is Acerola, whats yours” She said with a carefree expression
“Uh (Your Name)” You reply quickly with care and urgency. Something Acerola was lucking “Listen we need to run and-”
“Run? But your so small. You cant keep up with me” She said with a giggle as that was only adding to the cute factor. But you cant care about that. You need to move.
“Listen they're are monsters in here! They will try to eat us!” You say as you jump around, trying to get it through with her.
The girl didn't answer at first, instead she just crouched down over you. Her arms around her knees as smiled at you “They aren't Monsters, they're my Pokemon Silly!”
“Wha...” Was all you could say. You don't know what a Pokemon was, but they were hers. How?”
“And they wont try to eat you, well Froslass might try but you would probably be too warm for her taste. Here let me introduce you to them all!” She cheerfully as she then brought her hand to you. You had little time to move or get out of the way as it came at the side. Scooping you up. You land on her palm with her fingers behind you. She then rose up to her full height, standing tall as she looked ahead.
“People cant see in the dark as good as me, so ill do this for you!” She said as he brought her free hand to the side and flipped a switch. The lights then started flicking on and off until finally you could see the giant place.
It was a Mart. With shelves, everything was a bit warn but liveable. You didn't care about that though, you cared about what else you saw. The giant monsters that you were just afraid of, coming to Acerola like obedient little pets. None of them were bigger then Acerola as you felt even smaller. The balloon floated over while the Ice ghost came near it. The gem imp walked through the aisle until it was in front of you and the Sandcastle dragged itself and its sand.
She then presented you out as she spoke “Ok girls, this is (Your Name) Say Hi to him!”
All of them started making noises that was their animals cry, while you only had one respond “What is going on?”
“(Your Name). This is Sableye, Drifblim, Froslass and Palossand. Dhelmise is over there on the wall” She said indicating to an Anchor with eyes on the wall. Another weird creature “It doesn't like to move much though”
“Acerola, i am so confused right now. Where am i? What are these, what did you call them Pokemon? Did you bring me here” You say turning to her.
“Oh right... how should i explain this” She said “Well i did bring you here. Here is the Thrifty Megamart. One of its abandoned sites on Ula’ula Island in Alola. It is also a Trial Location. And I'm the Trial captain!” She said with a bit of a proud edge. Her words only raised a good point to you, but you kept quiet and listening “I found you on the beach and i brought you in here. I told Sableye to watch over you while i was out there. I heard some noises and i came back in”
“So you brought me here. That calms most of me” You say to her as you thanked Acerola. “And uh... what are those?”
“They are my Pokemon! You... you do know what Pokemon are right?” She said as she was making sure. However your answer wasn't a good one.
“I have no idea”
“Wow, you must of really been washed here from very far away. Every place i know has Pokemon!” Acerola said as she then put her hand to her cheek “How do i explain this. Well Pokemon are amazing creatures that live with humans! We befriend them, love them and even battle with them!”
“Befriend and battle?” You say to her as you were a bit confused.
“And these guys are mine, my best friends and my battling partners” She said bringing you down so they all looked at you. They were creepy, but they... were kind of less intimidating now. Especially since you met Acerola “I love them all. The thing is though they are Ghost Type Pokemon”
“So their dead?” You say as that part didn't make sense to you.
“Not really, but people are scared of them. Thats why we stay here, where they can be free to be as spooky as they want!” Acerola said as that was a very nice thing for her to do. No wonder why all the Pokemon like her.
And you can tell Acerola has that connection with her Pokemon. She might be considered spooky as well. Thats why she likes them so much, cause she connects with them personally.
“But now, we got a new friend in you!” Acerola as she brought you to her giant smile “So small, so fun. Im gonna love playing with you!” And thats the kid in her. She is a little girl after all. “Well can we play now! Please! please!” She said so giddy.
