It happened in the middle of the night. You had no trouble going to sleep, but as it turns out Ruby did. She had her eyes open the entire night. Dwelling on what was going to happen tomorrow. Yang sleeping with her mouth open at her side, Ruby could have no idea how she could go to sleep so easily. When their future will be decided. She went and moved her hand, going to wake up Yang, however she spotted you at the last minute.
Everyone else in the room was asleep, and Yang did need to get some sleep so she can be in peak condition. While you... you don't have anything planned tomorrow.
Ruby reached and grabbed you, lifting you off the pillow and getting onto her butt. Bringing her knees and placing you in between. Rubbing your eyes, you woke up seeing Ruby.
“Ruby? Why did y-”
(Your Name!)” She said in an impressive manner. Somehow shouting and whispering at the same time “I cant go to sleep and I'm so stressed. What if i fail, what if i get kicked out of beacon, what if I'm on a team but everyone hates me, what if i get attacked by grim, what if i forget to put on clothes, what if my scythe breaks, what i-”
“Ruby stop!” You say to her, having a good feeling that if you didn't get her to stop, she would just got down further into the hole. She looked at you and you explained “Look, your nervous. But if your good enough to get into Beacon, I'm sure you will nail the trial. I’ve seen you against your sister, you two are good when your sparring. This shouldn't be any different”
“Yeah but...”
“And your team will love you Ruby” You say to her knowing where she would go “I mean, your fun, happy and cute. Thats like the perfect three” You say to her as you got her to blush.
“Yeah but... i cant go to sleep” She said as you figured she was going to make it your duty to fix that.
“Because your nervous, look just try to clear your mind. But do it without trying to clear your mind. It isn't easy” You say trying to get her to sleep with a method from your world.
“I will, but... can you sleep with me?” She said a bit nervous. Seeing your reaction she explained “Well i normally sleep with my stuff animal! But Yang convinced me that i didn't need it anymore and... I'm missing it”
“So you want to cuddle with me like a stuffed animal?” You say to her as she replies with a nod of her head “Yeah sure”
She heard this and wanted to kiss. Of course she didn't but she wanted to. She moved back down onto the bed, laying under her blanket as she held you close to her chest. Crossing her arms over you, both sides. She held you close against her chest and she maybe isn't the young girl you thought she was.
She was nothing like her sister, but being pushed against her chest, you got to admit she was big. At least compared to you. She held you against her chest as you look up to her face. She was having her eyes closed and looked comfy. You keep watching her until you were certain she was asleep.
Once she was, you go to sleep yourself. Having a good night as you hope the best for both Yang and Ruby. At least you all will be in dorms tomorrow. Two of them being allowed.

“So i push this button and it turns from a rifle, to a scythe” Ruby said, now fully dressed and holding Crescent Rose. Showing it to you, in Yang’s luggage among her clothes “So i can change from close range to long range, depending on the scenario. Oh and this, is where the bullets get stored when it’s in scythe mode, and-”
“What are you talking about Ruby?” Yang said, finally coming back seeing her little sister over her shrunken friend.
“Ruby was nervous so i got her talking about her weapon. Turns out thats all you need to do” You say to her as it was really amazing. Ruby can talk about weapons at such a fast pace, that you didn't know the girl had the passion in her.
“Yeah, my little Ruby loves her weapons. I still remember the day when i got mind, Ruby got to wear them more then i did”
“Yang” Ruby said blushing. Both of you laughing at this.
“So, ready to go. The Drop Ships should be by soon?” Yang said.
“Yep! Let’s go! Can’t put it off forever” Ruby said as she turned to yo “Bye, hope to see you when we get back!”
“You sure your okay with wanting to be in my luggage. I mean, isn't it gonna get boring” Yang said obviously caring about you. Say what you want about the giant blonde, but she does care for you.
“Im good, ill probably just doze off. Don't worry about me, focusing on your trial. Oh and make sure your on a team with good people”
“I like the book girl, she would be nice to be with” Yang said speaking up “What about you Ruby?”
“I mean... he doesn't seem any good but Jaune was nice” Ruby said smiling “I know who i don't want to be on a team with though”
“The white hair Bitc-”
“Language” You say interrupting Yang.
“I’m sure she's nice if we get to know her” Ruby spoke up, giving her the benefit of the doubt. The three of you talked for a little bit until they left.
“Bye. Next time we see you we will be huntresses in Training!” Ruby said.
“Don't perv on my panties in their okay!” Yang spoke as she zipped it up. Now in darkness, you do what you said you would and rest.
