A single glance at your half-genie friend made you feel guilty: she carried a look of pure shock upon her face, evidently surprised by what you had told her.
You couldn't blame her. You guessed you'd be too if someone told you turned evil, hurt your friends and forced someone into agreeing to become your girlfriend.
It must have been a lot to take it for the purple-haired giantess.
However, Shantae also carried a sorrowful glint in her eyes.
"I-I..." she stuttered,
"I did?"
You nodded your head.
"Are you sure you didn't get hit in the head? Tell me I hit you in the head."
You shook your head this time.
Shantae went silent again, just staring at you in her hands with a sorrowful look on her face.
Had she really done what you were saying she did while she was Nega-Shantae?
In shock, she looked back at you.
The precious little guy who complimented her so much just this morning was now probably afraid of her, something she was not proud of.
Admittedly though, a small part of her felt... happy. Happy that she had gotten to you somehow, even if she was evil and by the means of threatening you. Perhaps, that was the answer...
No.
Shantae quickly suppressed those thoughts.
She wanted you, but not like that! Not if you weren't willing!
"Shantae?" you called, concerned, getting her to snap out of her thoughts.
"I... I really did..." she mumbled, before bringing you closer, pushing you towards her cheek and embracing you to it. You felt yourself being rubbed up and down the smooth
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to... to force you..."
You waited a couple moments, embarrassed but relieved to see that Shantae was apparently fully herself again.
"Hey, it's okay," you said after a short hesitation,
"You weren't yourself. And you did pretty much nothing to me, so that's fine."
The giantess didn't reply, but kept rubbing you against her cheek in a slow fashion. You were sure it was more out of affection than actual sorrow at this point, though you didn't mind. You were just glad this was over.
... Speaking of which...
You pulled back a bit, glancing at the fainted Risky, as much as Shantae's grip let you.
The half-genie felt you moving and looked at you, then followed your gaze to look at Risky as well.
"What do we do with her?" you wondered,
"Unless she is..."
"Nah. She's got a thick skin." Shantae replied, though she began doubting her own words. Risky was very much unmoving right now, and Shantae herself had apparently done a lot of horrible things as Nega-Shantae...
"... Let me check," she said, gently letting you down on her bed before getting up, strolling over Risky carefully, lest the pirate queen was going to get up all of a sudden.
However, Risky remained perfectly still, allowing Shantae to kneel and turn the pirate on her back.
Luckily, she was still breathing.
"Oh, she's not going to be happy at all about this..." the half-genie murmured, knowing that Risky was a very, very vindictive woman. As a matter of fact, when she woke up, she was certainly going to scheme up a way to get back at Shantae.
"She's alive." she informed, turning her head towards the bed where you were standing.
"Good, I guess." you replied,
"But what do we do with her now?" you repeated.
Shantae looked nervous.
"Well... if Risky is here, her ship can't be far. I'll get her aboard and have her Tinkerbats get her away." she said.
"Wait, you're letting her go?"
Shantae didn't listen as she busily dragged Risky across the room, a little payback for the hole in her roof... and for turning her evil... and for kidnapping you.
You watched as Shantae disappeared in her living rooms before you heard a door opening; a while later, the sound of an anchor rising was heard from outside. Them, Shantae's head popped back into the room as the half-genie strolled back towards the bed.
"Whew... that's done." she sighed, stopping as she noted Risky's pistol on the ground,
"What's this?"
"Careful! Risky turned you evil with that thing!" you warned, just imagining what would happen if Shantae happened to accidentally pull the trigger while examining the pistol.
Apparently, the giantess shared a similar line of thinking, because she suddenly pulled the weapon back and said,
"Okay, maybe it's better if we put this away," she said,
"It's not like I'll be giving this back to Risky anyway."
You watched as she put the pistol in her inventory, before sighing and heading towards the bed, literally dropping onto it, causing you to bounce a foot away from her.
"So, what now?" you asked.
Shantae let out a yawn.
"Nothing. I'm beat." she replied, sounding like all the exhaustion of the day, collected between two fights with Risky and transforming into Nega-Shantae and back to herself, came to her in this exact moment.
Another yawn.
"I need to sleep..." she moaned, grabbing a hold of you and pulling you closer; before you could react, you found yourself being embraced to her bosom, with which you spent a prolonged amount of time today.
You blushed furiously at the memory and tried to wiggle free, but Shantae had an iron grip. As if to make things worse, she was very exhausted, and fell asleep in mere moments, cuddling you like a child with a stuffed animal.
You sighed, resigned to the fact that you were not going anywhere.
Perhaps, you could use this opportunity to get five minutes of shut-eye yourself; you were pretty tired too, now that you thought about it...
