You wake up, the sun being in your face, however it was then replaced with a giant shadow over you. Good cause you don’t think you can deal with the sun right now. You’re body is hurting and your mind is all mixed up. So you are thankful for this shadow.
“Oh dear... are you alright?” She questioned as you listen to her. You listen to the voice. It was a girl, British and admittedly sounded very kind. You would never say that before, but their was something about this.
“Ow... i’m fine.” You reply to her “Little hurt but fine.”
“Oh if you are hurt maybe you shouldn’t get up okay. Don’t worry, i will watch out for you. You should be fine, but just to be sure.” She said as you were okay with this. You should at least open your eyes and thank this girl who is looking over you.
However when you did that, something else was amazing. As you open your eyes and see a rabbit? Not a joke, but an actual rabbit. It was looking down at you, the brown rabbit having her eyes on you.
There were a couple things to note about this rabbit. First was that it had clothes on. Well a piece of clothing at least. A yellow shirt around the top half of her body. Funny enough it fit her pretty well. Another thing to note was that this rabbit was massive. It towered over you, in fact you felt like you were an inch tall compared to it. When you looked around, well that explained it. The world was big. You know you are outside, but could not get more than that.
The last thing to note was that the rabbit, was looking down to you. Her eyes seeming to be filled with... care?
“Uh...” You say looking around. Of course looking around to find the voice.
“You look okay?” She said, the rabbit coming closer as you learned that it was the rabbit. This left you stunned and speechless. “Although you are very small?”
“I am.” You reply to her as you force yourself to get up. Of course forcing yourself to get up. You take a couple of steps back as you stand equal with her. You were no bigger than this rabbit’s foot. And you can tell this rabbit isn’t very big, but still massive to you. You feel like an ant. “Uh... thanks for looking after me?” You say a bit unsure.”
“Oh it was no problem at all. Are you okay? Okay to walk around.” She said, hopping closer. Getting you step back a bit.
“Yeah i’m fine.” You say as you then look at her “What is happening?”
“Well i was hoping you would tell me. I have never seen a human so small! Even the babies are much, much larger than you.” She said as you had to agree.
“I have no idea about that, but i... how can you talk?” You question as she titled her head. Her large floppy ears moving.
“Of course i can talk.” She said back as if that was normal. “Sorry, introductions right. My name is Mopsy Rabbit.” She said as you listened. “And yours?”
“I... I’m (Your Name).” You tell her. “Okay, Mopsy. Let me just... get myself together. I have no idea why i am small, or where i am or... anything.”
“Well, don’t worry. I will be right beside to help if you need it.” She said hoping closer to you, getting you to jump back a bit. She was so towering, something she noticed. Being bigger than a human, that is something she really never thought about before. Honestly... she liked it a bit. Maybe just a bit.
Suddenly she got an idea, a big idea about it. She moved and came down. She came down and brought her rabbit paw to you.
You freaked out about this, but could do nothing as she grabbed you. The giant rabbit held you and lifted you up, bringing you up to her face as you were grabbed. Her paw’s around you as she smiled.
“I... i’m not okay with this.” You say struggling a bit. She looked worried for a bit, but then got her senses together.
“This is to make sure you are safe.” She said “Don’t worry i will look after you. I promise.” She said as you breathed a sigh of relief. You... are actually calming down right now. Thankfully it is good and wanted. “Better?”
“Just, give me a warning next time.” You tell her as she smiles.
“Of course, i will.” She said. Being held by a rabbit was really weird, but at least you were safe.
“So... where am i?”
“In England, at Lake District. Right by Mr. Macgregor’s garden.” She said as you guess you should be happy about that.
“Uh... far from my home. Can rabbits... take public transport?” You question her. You don’t know this place. You would say no, but considering a rabbit can talk of course you would question.
“No?” She questioned as that kind of ruined your plan.
“Right, so i am stuck here, stuck this size and stuck... confused? Great.” You say to her as she noted this.
“Well, if you are stuck. You can stay with me!” Mopsy said, a bit happy about this offer “I will take good care of you, even play with you if you like that!”
She was so happy about this, but you did not share the same happiness. Speaking to her you say.
“Uh... well considering i don’t have any other options. Thank you Mopsy. I will take it up.”
“Great news! Great news!” She said happily hoping around, getting you to panic a bit.
“Although Mopsy. Not like a pet right? I mean, i don’t want to be your pet. Just being clear.” You say to her as she giggles.
“Oh, of course not as a pet!” She said loudly which got you to calm “____________”
