Chapter #47

Flower Fairy

    by: Unknown
You woke up, immediately feeling a sharp pain in your head.

You grunted, moving a hand to the side of it, and didn't move for an uncertain amount of time, waiting for the lingering ache to leave.

It was like having the top of your head in a vice grip, and you couldn't get it to loosen up. This was by far the strongest headache you ever had.

It took an annoyingly long amount of time for it to go away or, at least, lessen so you could finally breath in relief and sit up, wondering what was that about. You didn't recall drinking any alcohol before drifting off... you didn't even recall why you had drifted off in the first place.

You figured you had just randomly dozed off. Odd, but not impossible, you mused, rubbing your eyes to get the sleepiness and the gunk out of them, before finally opening them, only to discover that things weren't how they were supposed to be.

You blinked several times as you looked around, finding yourself not in your house or anywhere recognizable, yet somewhere dimly lit; you hadn't noticed it before, but the ground under your behind was uncharacteristically hard, and all around you were tall, thin green towers. The ceiling above crafted shade all over you, though it also let sunlight seep in.

Instinctively, you looked up, discovering that the 'ceiling' was very colorful, shaped like a bunch of flower. Funny thing, the place did smell like flowers indeed...

Wait...

Once more, you looked at the 'towers' which, you discovered, came right out of the ground - which was very, very close - and supported the ceiling.

Your heart skipped a beat.

You weren't in some weird botanic garden, you were literally surrounded by giant flowers! Somehow, you had shrunken down to be smaller than a flower, which now towered above you!

"W-Wha..." you stuttered, incredulous.

How had you ended up in a situation like this!?

Your heart began beating a little faster, and you shakily stood up, looking down at your feet with incredulous eyes. Yep, you were really very, very tiny and apparently surrounded by flowers.

This was terrible, what if someone stepped on you without even noticing!?

How did you even end up in this sort of mess, you wondered once more, looking around and trying to find a way out of the patch of flowers you were in. Your chances were better outside, where you could be seen, instead of here where you could be easily stepped on... unless there was some ferocious animal out of here, which would mean that your chances of survival greatly improved if you stayed where you were.

You didn't know what to do, and you felt your headache starting to return.

Luckily, such occurrence didn't come, because you got distracted when you felt the environment around you moving.

Just a breeze, you told yourself, but you were wrong, and realized that when you saw that a flower was actually moving among the other flowers.

Only... it was no flower at all. It was... you didn't even know what it was, but it was alive!

The creature had a relatively small, white and green body that ended with a heart-shaped 'tail' resembling a stem; the upper side of its body was white, and it had two small eyes and a thin mouth. Also, it was carrying a blue flower, and was hovering above the ground.

Upon examining the newcomer for long enough, you ended up recognizing it, and not believing that you were actually in front of a giant Pokemon, Floette!... You had an idea of how small you really were right now, given how you barely went up the tip of the Pokemon's tail.

You didn't even question how you somehow ended up in the Pokemon world, too focused on the Floette, who apparently hadn't noticed you.

According to the Pokedex, Floette was supposedly a kind, pacific and nurturing Pokemon who took care of flowers and despised fighting. Also, they were only exclusively females, like their pre-evolution, Flabébé, and their evolution, Florges.

It was no wonder you met one, given your location. Still, you couldn't tell its intentions, so it was better if you maintained a low pr-

The Floette suddenly moved forward, her tail hitting you and knocking you on your butt, but that was not the problem: apparently, the giantess felt that she had hit something, because she looked down to check.

"Flo?" she cried softly, curious. But her curiosity soon turned into a smile when when she saw that the thing she hit looked like a tiny human, and WAS a tiny human, tinier than even her! Wow.
"Flo...ette?" she wondered, keeping the smile.

You couldn't understand her, and tried to crawl away from the giantess, but not only she was faster than you, she also had that useful ability to hover, which she used to flutter right in front of you, blocking your escape.

"Floo..." she cooed, waving a tiny hand while clinging to her flower with the other, a sorrowful look on her face. She had probably scared you. She didn't want that.

It would have been adorable, if the Pokemon wasn't so big compared to you.

Startled, you got back on your feet and jumped to the side, starting to run as fast as you could.

"Floette!" you heard the cry of the Pokemon behind, who didn't want to let go of such an interesting catch!

You felt the flowers moving around you as the giantess chased you.

You had to avoid getting caught at all costs.
