It wasn’t the best question to ask, and sure it came out of nowhere. Just judging from her reaction, she was not expecting you to say that. Waiting for a long while she looked at you confused as you just waited and acted like you were wanting the answer. Truth be told, the answer was not that important to you, and you just wanted to change the subject.
She looked at you for a little more, until she couldn’t help but giggle. The ocean wind blowing through the short hair and making her look more like a dream than a giantess who was right in front of you. “Kind of a weird question to ask, don’t you think?”
‘Uh yeah, but it’s been on my mind for a while.” You say as she smiled down, and you laughed about it as well. it would seem that you two were bonding really well at the moment.
“Well, I don’t think they are that big personally.” She said, lifting her leg straight and shaking her shoe around. “Maybe because you are so small, they seem massive to you! That probably is it right huh silly.”
“Y-Yeah, probably is. Still they seem bigger than normal.” You say back to her as she smiled.
“Guess i’ll show you that they aren’t that big.” She said as you paused. Moving and leaping herself off onto the sand on the small island.
Walking over to the middle and letting you down. You could see the giant bridge in front of you, but you were paying more attention to Kairi.
She was so big, it was a hard thing to imagine. Still she seemed nice, and seemed to really like her. You can already tell she was the kind of girl to instantly make someone feel comfortable.
She moved her hands around and took out her shoe. Only to place it next to you for a second. kairi being the caring girl she was brought it down next to you. Next to you slowly as you see it land near you.
“Actually, now that I look at it. I guess my feet are pretty big, compared to you at least. Hehehe.” She laughed about this finding it so adorable. She didn’t want to intimidate you so simply she put her foot back. Moving down as well to get closer. Going on her knees as she smiled at you. “Guess you were right.”
You smile about it, seeing you were off the weird subject. You were just not really sure you wanted a kind girl like her to explore the other worlds. You look around and you have to admit. “It seems pretty amazing here Kairi. It’s almost like a paradise.”
“Yeah, you’ve only seen a bit of the island though. I should give you a tour later, can I please?”
She’s asking? “Uh yeah I would like that. I mean, given my size, I wouldn’t mind staying here for a little bit.”
“Well I wouldn’t mind letting you stay with me.” She said with a shift of her hand. You feel it close to you as she moved her fingers around. “I mean it’s not like you would take up much room.”
“Y-Yeah guess not.”
Suddenly Kairi’s eyes went wide. “Sorry,” You looked at her confused as she continued. “It’s just... well I take things more light hearted, and seeing you so small i’ve been making jokes about it. You probably are more scared.”
She even takes that into care. How did you manage to be near one of the nicest giant girls there is. “No it’s fine. If anything, your little jokes are needed. You do make me laugh.”
‘Oh, well i’ll keep making them,” She said as she then laughed. “Don’t worry, i’m not short on them.”
You both laughed and giggled about this as you were smiling up to her. You were not really sure what to do now? It would seem though, she was thinking about it otherwise as she brought her hand over and scooped you up. you freaked out for a couple of seconds and jumped as she lifted you up. Giggling about it for a couple of time as she found it funny.
“Sorry, i’ve never been picked up before, it must feel weird.” She says to you, moving over and sitting back onto the tree. looking down and over the horizon as you could basically already tell what she was thinking.
“Yeah, but at the same times I got to get use to it. You are gonna be picking me up for a long while, aren’t you.”
“Well I could pick you up, hehe. Or you could come and climb up my body instead.” She giggled toying and being playful.
“I don’t think I would have a good time with that Kairi, please don’t make me.” You say playfully back to her as she giggled again.
You have no idea why, but you were enjoying every giggle she was sending your way. It was just so innocent, and it seemed nice.
In a weird way, you were looking forward to staying here with Kairi. Not only was she kind, but she was a good time.
“So do you stay in a room here or?”
“Oh, I stay in that room over there.” She said moving her fingers around to a couple of tree houses in the corner. Which rose so many more questions. You would of asked, but she did not give the answer. Instead she moved around. “But I don’t really wanna go there yet. For now, I think we should stay here.”
“you like this little island don’t you.” You say back to her, as she just had to laugh and giggle about it more.
“I know it seems weird, but on this island I feel at home. I mean I wanna go out and explore, but... something just tells me I belong here.”
“Funny, something is telling me the exact same thing.” You say back to her and smiling
