Astrid woke up, rubbing her eyes just at the break of dawn. She had a pretty good sleep all things considered, even if she was left thinking about what you said last night.
What an awkward situation, you thought she was sleeping but that was far away from the case. She looked down to you, sleeping peacefully. Should she talk about it, should she just act like she never heard anything. It was the first night you two spent together, and you were already in love.
She likes you, but she doesn’t think she would go that far, at least not already. Moving around, she moved onto her feet and moved around. Making sure not to wake you. Might as well while you were sleeping get breakfast going. Bacon and Eggs should be no trouble for even you to eat.

You woke up about fifteen minutes later, finding an empty bed you were in. “W-What? Astrid, you here?!” You shout trying to listen for a response. You didn’t get one, but instead you heard sizzling? Now very much interested, you get going. Scaling down the side of the bed and onto the ground. You run around her giant home, making your way through until you got right under her. Looking at her in the kitchen as she had set up a small fire and is cooking something over it.
“About time you woke up.” She smirked to you. “Ready to eat?”
“Oh, I am feeling like the luckiest guy in the world.” You had to say as you walk up to her. She picks you up, and just in time for the food to begin. She wore a smile as she moved her way around, sitting next to you as she wore a smile on her face. At the table, she gave you a small meal on the table, and a larger one for her. You turn your head and look over it, before then you at yours.
“Hey, I did cook it. Plus i’m bigger.” She chuckled noticing how nervous you were about it.
“Are you gonna eat it.”
“Lets go.” You say as the both of you ate. She ate... like a viking. Mauling into it without much restraint as it was really something else. How much can she really eat. By the time she was finished, you barely ate half.
“You got some... egg on your face.” Pointing to the side of the lip as she realised it.
“Right, sorry. Man you eat slow.”
“Actually, i’m kind of full. Do you wanna eat it?” You question just wanting to know. She wore a smile as she grabbed your small meal, and ate it with one mouthful. It was so quick, almost like she didn’t struggle at all.
“Well, that was quick.”
“Thanks I just... loved that.” She said as you were left pausing for a couple of seconds.
“I-Interesting choice of words Astrid. Anyway, what do you wanna do now?”
“Actually we need to talk about something little guy.” She said to you as you were left thinking “I heard you last night.”
“H-Heard me? I mean sorry if I snored or-”
“I heard you say you love me.” She said as your eyes then just shot open. You sit there and wait, relaxing for a long while as if you were going to be honest, you had no idea what you were going to do.
“Well um... just let me go and jump off the table then.” You say as you were really thinking about it. How embarrassing, she wasn’t suppose to hear that! You have no idea what you are even going to do at this point. You wait for a long while, eyes digging in when suddenly.
“No don’t. It’s... cute.” She said to you as you look over to her, hope in your eyes. “No, not like that. Look, I barely know you. I don’t think about you that way.”
“O-Oh. “ You say moving down and sitting down. Accepting what was going to happen as you wonder what you are going to do. You wonder for a long while. “C-Can I stay?”
“What, of course.” She said. “I’m looking after you, nothing you can do or feel changes that. Plus, maybe with this, I can get a better foot rub.” She chuckled to you, moving her finger around your chin and stroked it. You felt it there, as it made you smile a bit. A bit more than it probably should of. “I’m not looking for a boyfriend.”
“Oh, right... wait a second, don’t you have one?” You speak up to her as she listened. A confused look on her face as she was confused.
“What, no i don’t? Why did you think I had a boyfriend?” she questioned as you were stunned.
Is Hiccup not a thing here, they had dragons so he had to be. You were left confused but hey, Astrid was free so why not!
“W-Well-”
“Not a chance.” She said almost like she already knew what you were gonna try and talk to her about. “Not yet at the very lease? Let’s spend some more time.”
“Which goes back to my question before, what are we gonna do!” Sure, it was a bit weird at the fact that you told her you loved her. Still you were a fan about it, as you wore a smile on your face against hers.
“Well, if you wanna do something. I know something.” She said with a smile as her hand came for you. Skipping her hand behind you and lifting you up. You wanted to move ahead a bit, and she was going to listen about it.
“Let’s do it.”
“Really, no take backs?” She questioned as that left you a bit worried and a bit scared about it. You look back to her wondering about it.
“I am a bit worried now, but hey let’s do it! What is it going to be?”
