When you got hired to steal some random piece of tech, you couldn't have expected that it would be held at an Avengers facility. You also couldn't have expected that said piece of technology would end up leaving you two inches tall in the middle of a massive bedroom.
Gazing at your surroundings in baffled awe, you try and figure out who the room belongs to based on the objects in it. A good number of pistols line the wall proudly. Other than that, however, the room looks rather normal overall.
Before you can figure out anything, the ground begins to shake as someone walks to the door. The answer to your previous question soon becomes clear when the door opens and Natasha Romanoff makes her way inside.
Panic immediately takes root within you. She is very much known as the most ruthless of the Avengers, even more so than the Hulk. Being found by her is not something you want to happen. You slowly turn around and begin walking towards a hiding spot.
"I hope you know that I can see you on the floor."
You freeze at the voice and look to see the Avenger staring at you with a passive expression. Rather than try and bolt, you wait as she walks over and picks you up. As you're brought to her face, your anxiety skyrockets.
"Care to tell me why you're here?" the spy asks neutrally. Her lack of emotion unnerves you greatly.
"I am going to be completely honest with you. I got hired to steal from here. Whatever I was supposed to steal ended up doing this to me," you state truthfully.
"And you get hired to steal things because?"
"Because I don't really have any other options to make a living. Student loans are a pain in the ass."
"Hmm. Well, I think you're definitely not a threat to me or the others. But I can't exactly let you leave this facility," the redhead informs you.
"Well then what happens to me?" you question nervously.
"What happens is that you're going to be staying with me," she responds.
"S-stay with you?! Why wouldn't you just turn me in?!" you yelp.
"Because the police wouldn't care about your story. They'd lock you away and throw away the key. While this is still a punishment, I'll go a lot easier on you"
"Fine. Are you just going to put me in a fish tank or something?"
Natasha laughs as she takes a seat on her bed before placing you next to her.
"That all depends on how good you are," she teases with a smirk.
"Like not trying to escape? Yeah I can do that," you say confidently.
"Not just that. I'm going to be having you do some tasks for me. Think of it as a form of community service," she states.
"Tasks? What kind of tasks are we talking about here?" you ask.
"A bit of everything. Cleaning things for me in the room that I may not be able to reach, helping me relax after a mission, and other things if they potentially come up," the spy explains.
You nod in agreement to her terms. After all, it was either that or a SHIELD prison cell.
"Am I supposed to start my tasks now or is today an adjustment period?"
Natasha smiles before stating that you ___________________.
