You eventually wake back up. Your mind is hazy, and you’re not sure what just happened. You’re lying on your back on the short grass of the soccer practice field, looking up at the sky. It looks like it’s dusk now, so you’ve been asleep for a little while.
You try to move, but something heavy is pinning you down. You can’t push it off, so you look and try to see what it is.
You gasp as you see an enormous white paw lying on top of you. You look around some more and see the form of a huge Cinderace lying unconscious nearby.
That’s enough to make you remember everything that happened before: a wild Cinderace suddenly Dynamaxed and caught you, but then there was a flash of lightning that knocked you out. Apparently, it knocked her out too.
The strange thing is, the Pokemon clearly isn’t Dynamaxed anymore. She isn’t glowing red, she doesn’t have those weird clouds over her head, and the sky isn’t gloomy. And yet, the rabbit is still huge.
Your heart sinks as you realize what this means: you shrunk somehow. That’s not good. You imagine it must be very dangerous at your current size. Being shrunken means every single Pokemon and human is now Dynamax-size, instead of just the single Cinderace being Dynamaxed like before.
You begin to panic, but you manage to settle down. You need to remain calm and figure out how to undo this shrinking. There must be a way to return to normal.
The first thing to do, however, is to get out from under this Cinderace’s paw. It’s not really hurting you because it’s so soft, but it’s trapping you, and it’s heavy enough to make breathing difficult. You start squirming and manage to slip out a tiny bit—you might be able to keep squirming and escape if you tried.
Then again, maybe shouting and waking the rabbit up would be better. If you escaped, you’d be on your own, and any random Pokemon could easily kill or eat you, so it may be a better idea to trust the Cinderace and see if she’ll help you. But if you do that, you’re taking another risk, because the rabbit may not be friendly...
