You've followed Sakura pretty much through her whole life, so you know this was part 1 Sakura at the moment. The fact that she still had her long pink hair was also another indicator of where you were in the timeline.
"So, she still hasn't taken the Chunin Exams yet." you whispered.
The Cunin Exams are where she met Kin and had to cut her hair short to get out of her grip. That was an intense moment and a real turning point for her character. Also, it gave Sakura the short-haired look she kept throughout the series.
You looked up to the top of the bed where the pink-haired kunoichi was resting and thought about what it would be like to actually talk to her. The closest you came to that dream was when you met Kate Higgins at Comicon.
"I need to get up there." you said to yourself. The sheets where low enough for you to climb but at the same time could you really make it all the way up there. You were pretty small after all. If you fell it would hurt... a lot.
Another avenue available to you was trying to call up to her. She was a kunoichi in training and should be able to hear you. But then again this was still Sakura. As much as you loved her you knew she was prone to overreacting.
You've watched her clobber Naruto for minor offenses and if she thought you were some little pervert who broke into her house to spy on her then there was no question she'd try to squash you. Although, a part of you wouldn't mind her stepping on you.
"What do I do?" you hummed. Do you make the climb or call out to her? Both options had their pros and cons and the worst case scenario was ending up a sticker on Sakura's sole. "What to do? What to do?"
A full minute went by before you finally made a choice. You just hoped you wouldn't regret it.
