You had the biggest headache of your life right now, but that was the least of your apparent problems. You have no idea what happened, how it was even possible, and if you were somehow dreaming despite multiple attempts to wake up, but you were currently scurrying around an utterly massive building that you never saw before. The building was massive in every sense, but to you especially because somehow you didn’t just end up in a strange new place, you ended up being shrunk to a few inches tall as well. So not only did you have to navigate this massive complex building that seemed to be either a library or a dormitory, but you did so with the added challenge of being the size of a doll or a mouse as well. It was apparently late at night based on the windows, but there were still a lot of people wandering around. Many of them dressed in uniforms with red pants or shorts, though you did spy one or two with blue. You didn’t really have much time to ponder all this. You needed to either find a way out of here or find something that could help you survive or grow back.
As it got later, most of the students and staff seemed to return to their rooms. This made it easier to travel without being seen or stepped on, but you still had to be wary. Despite your caution, you eventually made a mistake when you decided to take the risk and run across an open area, thinking almost everyone was gone. When you were roughly in the middle of the room you heard a gasp. Turning to the source you saw a very tall girl with somewhat darker tanned skin, that familiar red and white uniform and dark hair with a few green streaks. It was hard to tell from your shrunken perspective but this girl seemed tall even compared to the other people you saw before. Without giving you a chance to react, this new giant immediately ran up to you, causing the ground around you to shake with her heavy and eager footsteps. You barely managed to maintain your balance when you saw two large red shoes in front of you and this giant girl staring down at you with a curious and eager expression.
“Wow! You’re small? Are you a Pokémon? Or are you maybe part of one of those professor’s secret experiments?” You just stared at her looking confused. It was clear that you had no clue what anything she said meant. She seemed to pick up on this and reached down to grab you. Though her action scared you, her grip was pretty gentle. “Oh you poor thing! You must really be lost. Well don’t you worry, you’re in very good hands.” She giggled at this phrasing before speaking again. “I happen to be one of the regional champions. One of the best actually. You won’t find anyone tougher than me.” You didn’t quite understand what she was bragging to you about, but you suppose this girl is a pretty good choice if you wanted someone to keep you safe. Though you mostly worried if you were safe from her as well.
She carried you back to her dorm room and placed you on the floor before sitting on the bed. “My name’s Nemona by the way. What’s yours?” You quietly responded with your name. “(Y/n) huh? That’s a cool name.” Nemona said as she sat down and pulled her shoes off. “Well I’m not sure if I can show you around now. But I can see if I can figure anything out about your condition. Until then, looks like we’re roommates!” Her eagerness was almost infectious to you though it did raise some worries despite her apparent kindness.
