"Why does Nabu always have to ruin the fun!" Klarion complained loudly as he sat at the edge of a building with his legs dangling off. Teekl behind him meowed in response. "But I'm bored!" Klarion protested, being able to understand completely what his familiar was saying. "How can I entertain myself if I can't blow anything up?" Teekl once again meowed, causing Klarion to look down at the pedestrians walking far beneath him. "Yeah, but they're no fun, it's always the same thing, they panic, the Justice Dorks come and my fun is ruined again." Suddenly, Klarion perked up, he looked to his familiar as an evil grin crept up his face. "I just had a wonderful idea."
"So how long is this lock down going to be?" Artemis asked as she stood with the rest of the team in front of Batman and Red Tornado.
"Though it is an estimate, we can expect a minimum of twenty-four hours isolation," Red Tornado replied in his usual monotone voice.
"Wait, Zeta's going to be down for that long?" Robin asked, his eyes widening, "why?"
"We're testing out new Zeta Beam Technology," Batman informed, "which means that any use of Zeta beams could be fatal."
"But does that really require a lock down?" Miss Martian asked, not fully understanding Batman's motive.
"Usually no, but I can't risk some of you walking into the Zeta tubes accidentally or as some sort of prank," Batman replied, suddenly everyone turned to Robin and Kid Flash.
"I see you're point," Aqualad replied.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Wally complained in response.
"So does that mean Red Tornado gets to babysit us for a whole twenty-four hours?" Zatanna asked, cocking an eyebrow.
"No, I am needed on the Watch Tower," Red Tornado replied, "only the six of you will be here." Robin and Wally glanced at each other before wide grins appeared on their faces. Batman grimaced before turning to Aqualad.
"Try to keep some order in the mean time," Batman ordered.
"You have my word," Aqualad replied. Batman spun around and walked out, followed closely by Red Tornado.
RECOGNISED BATMAN ZERO-TWO RED TORNADO ONE-SIX
There was a few seconds of silence before the computer spoke again.
ZETA TUBES NOW OFFLINE
"Awesome! What should we do first?" Wally asked before racing into the lounge room, he was soon joined by the rest of the team.
"Batman doesn't want any thing broken when he returns," Kaldur informed, directing the information specifically to Wally and Dick.
"Come on Kaldur, we aren't that bad," Dick replied.
"Let's just keep things from going chaotic," Kaldur replied.
"And what's wrong with chaotic?" A voice rung, the team looked around themselves before Klarion appeared in a puff of smoke.
"Klarion!" Zatanna hissed.
"Hey kiddies, I was bored, so decided to come and entertain myself," the witch boy informed.
