She thinks the ray is some kind of drink bottle

The Eevee spots the growth ray in your hands. Its large size coupled with its shape reminds her of a bottle they use to feed certain pokemon with when they're young or need liquid medicine. Thinking its a drink, she takes the end of the ray in her mouth and begins "drinking" it. you try to stop her, but no matter how docile she typically is, you're now much weaker than her and she wants a drink, so there's no way you can stop her.

As she sucks on the growth ray she winds up triggering it, causing her to grow even bigger. At this point her body is too big for the room and it pushes the walls as she grows, squishing you a bit as well. Soon the walls can no longer handle the growing Eevee they're containing and they break and fall over. At this rate the whole lab'll fall apart before too long...
