The adjacent junior high school

"Time to introduce you to junior high!"

"NO!" Adam shrieked, struggling desperately. He wanted to go to junior high and ditch his nerd image, not start out like this! The bullies kept a firm grip on him though. He desperately kicked, trying to get traction with his feet to stop them. Maybe if he put up a big enough struggle he'd escape!

After a moment, they stopped and Adam dared hope he might be safe. Instead, they picked him up by the arms and legs, carrying him between them and keeping him from hiding anything as they headed into the school. Adam squeezed his eyes shut, too humiliated to look when gasps and laughter erupted around him.

"Take a look everybody! He'll be here soon and we wanted to introduce him, the great white butt, the ultimate nerd, the best target we've ever had: ADAM! This kid spends more time on the flagpole than the flag!"

Adam finally dared open his eyes, realizing that he was in the junior high...
