Raynare was still furious about the fact that not only was she defeated by that stupid Gremory girl but she felt guilty for killing Issei since she may be a spirit now that she’s dead but she was able to watch Issei grow into a fine young man which made her regret killing the poor boy when she was still alive.
“What was I thinking? I killed him because I wanted Azazel-sama to love me but if I was still alive after killing him, I’d probably still be dead.” Raynare said as she looked at Issei preparing for a date with Rias which made Raynare blush as she was able to see how Issei had planned a wonderful date with Rias and wanted to make more time for both her and Akeno since they were going to go to Kuoh University soon after high school.
Although Raynare could see that Issei was struggling as he was done getting dressed and followed him to see that Rias was still taking too long picking out an outfit for their date. Raynare was annoyed by this since she could understand the devil having many dresses but taking so long for just one while Issei was already dressed and ready for their date made Rias think that the Gremory wasn’t taking the date seriously.
“Oh come on. Just pick an outfit already!” Raynare shouted as she knew that no one could hear her since she was a spirit now. Raynare then began to picture herself going on this date with Issei instead of Rias and showing him a good time far better than the Gremory girl.
“It pisses me off that I can’t merely take over for the date to really make Issei happy. I still haven’t forgiven that brat for that stunt she pulled when she called him an idiot and then the rest of her club basically badmouthed him.” Raynare said as she kicked the air around her until a voice spoke to her.
‘Would you really want to take over this date and make the boy you betrayed happy?’
Raynare was shocked by the voice before nodding to herself in reply. “I would. I would make him smile for real when we went on out date, give him a kiss at the end which would make him feel loved, but also tell him that he isn’t alone that he can trust me.”
Raynare heard no reply back as she believed she was going crazy until a book appeared in her hands.
“A book of spells?” Raynare said as she opened the book to see a spell which would allow her to not only possess Rias but also take over her mind and body.
“This is what I need.” Raynare gasped lightly as she then focused on the spell and chanted the words which made her spirit glow as she was then feeling a strong tug and headed towards her target.
“Mm. Why does my head hurt?” Raynare gasped as she realized that she felt pain until she turned to the mirror to see her reflection.
