On the science spaceship you work on, the Guinevere, several members are working on experiments, but they also brought their families, who perform other duties, such as cooking, cleaning, maintenance, etc.

Randall walked into the Spacecare, and, as part of his routine inspection, started by looking into one of the rooms.
