You curse silently under your breath. Everything you've learned in training is that most exploration vessels get very little in terms of excitement on their entire voyages, much less their first trip. Still, part of you held, and still holds onto, some hope that this system might actually host a secret left for you to discover. Immediately you and your crew get to work on taking readings and data of the system. 3 planets, one has two moons, no supportable life to be found on any and no out of the ordinary or dangerous readings coming from space either. That hope within you diminishes slightly.
You begin with the task of surveying the system, for which you've been given one standard month to do, and set off to the nearest planet to begin your surveys.
