Bill took the now taller Gloria's hand, and began to walk with Gloria away from the porch, down towards JFK Elementary School, which wasn't too far from Bill's house... well, Bill's old house, it seemed.
The world was such a blur now for Bill, and so were his memories. On the one hand, he remembered being Bill Strasserman, brother of Kimberly, Daughter of Martha, best friend of Tom, and at most casual acquaintance to Gloria by means of her being his best friend's Girlfriend. Fleeting memories of trying out for the baseball team and competitive Mario Kart against Tom filtered through his mind
But also popping up were memories of being Natasha Vanapolous, Younger sister of Gloria, daughter of Ariadne, best friends with someone named Becky. Random memories of him begging his mom... Ariadne to go to Disney World this summer, and getting her hair done with Gloria now popped up alongside his baseball and Mario Kart ones.
Bill/Natasha was all disjointed in the head. Competeing versions of his life wrestled around in his head, and he had to do something to fix this before he went crazy... or possibly forgot the Bill part of him. But what could have done this? How could he possibly have two lives in his head.
Another memory popped up. One that was common in both of his mental realities... The Green Flash... the stone!
Bill/Natasha looked over to Gloria. In one hand, she held her now younger sister's. The other held the stone that Bill had found this morning. It had to be that stone! And that Stone had to be the way to fix all this, to get her mind straight before it was too late.
The green eyes of Natasha flaired with thought as Bill and Gloria approached JFK Elementary.
"Alright, kiddo. Time to go to school." Gloria told her younger sister.
