Bill couldn't believe what was happening. He had somehow aged 40 years, and his best friend Tom was now a woman, and apparently his wife. His sudden thoughts on the matter were interuptted by the laughter of Gloria.
"My... Wish! It came true! You two are really a married couple! Aww you look so cute together in your old age." Gloria laughed. It didn't seem like she was even considering the ramifications of her actions, or the fact that her wish even came true. She was just having too much fun.
Bill looked across to Gloria, and couldn't help but laugh himself. It seemed Gloria was missing a minor detail.
"I wouldn't talk so quickly, Gloria." Bill said, unnerved by the deepness of his voice.
"What do you mean?" Gloria said, her smile fading.
"You might want to look in a mirror, sweety." Said Tammy, finally speaking up. Her voice was tender but firm.
Gloria rushed to the mirror in the house's hallway and let off a tiny scream. She had aged as well! Her dark hair had bits of grey around it, wrinkles covered her face, and she now wore a very mature looking black jacket with a blue dress. She looked like a slightly off version of her mother.
"Oh my god, what is happening?" Gloria asked. "How could this have happened!"
"Well... judging by the calender over there, this isn't 2018 any more. We're in 2058." Bill said.
The three of them looked around the house, which now had a sleek, retro-future look.
"But.... How?" was all Gloria could muster.
Option 1: Before the three of them could discuss further, Bill and Tammy's now 26 year old daughter Willow makes a surprise visit home.
Option 2: Bill, Tammy, and Gloria explore the future, both what's happened in history/ technology and their personal lives between 2018 and 2058.
