"I finally got my own show!" Willow exclaimed. "It's going to be airing on Disney Channel in the fall!"
The same memories that had entered Tammy's head not too long ago had now entered Bill's mind. The trips to Disney World. Watching Little Mermaid and Zootopia and Sleeping Beauty and Ducktales over and over again. Buying tours of Cartoon Network and the Disney Studio for Willow. Sending Willow off to LA for school. Her being very excited to get her first gig. And now, this moment, this moment where this girl claiming to be his daughter now had found true success.
"Oh sweetheart! We're so proud of you! We're so happy all your dreams are coming true!" Tammy exclaimed, trying to save face for Bill's lack of engagement. Bill took the message. It was almost as if he knew his wife better than anyone, even though his wife was supposed to be his best friend.
"Yeah. Willow... that's amazing. I'm just trying to... take in this amazing news! What's the show about?" Bill asked, trying his damndest to be a good dad.
"I thought you'd never ask! Well, it's about these three friends. Brad, Tim, and Gina, and they find a magical rock that grants them wishes, but only when they are angry enough! Now, that gets them into all sorts of hijinks every week. Like, one week, Brad's accidently turned into Gina's poodle. And then the next week Gina finds herself in 1920s New York... and there's a whole mythology..."
As Willow went on and on about all her plans for the show, Bill, Tammy, and Gloria all looked at each other. This was sounding familiar. Much too familiar...
"And there's a whole bunch of other stones we can introduce in season 2, and beyond! It'll be like that old show Gravity Falls! We can have an endgame!"
"That's... amazing sweetheart." Bill said, a little shocked.
Option 1: Bill and Tammy try to get Willow to share more about the backstory of the stone, and even get her to talk about the other "stones" she has planned for season 2.
Option 2: As Gloria goes to put away her things, Gloria tries to convince Bill and Tammy to just show Willow the real stone and tell her what actually happened. Tammy is reluctant, wanting to keep this reality, and Bill is reluctant, felling like he doesn't want to somehow destroy Willow's dreams.
