Chapter #8

The Perfect Excuse

by: Komfy Kat Author IconMail Icon
Your nose was hit by the delicious smell of the next batch of cookies being removed from the oven, as you walked over and grabbed one of the hot sweets. You almost dropped it as you juggled it between your hands, trying not to burn yourself on it.

"Have as many as you'd like, dear." Your mother said, smiling as she put the last cookie sheet into the oven.

"Oh, I almost forgot." you started, realizing that there was no way you were going to risk your mother over hearing any conversation between you and Sarah, "I'm going to go to a friends after school tomorrow, just so you know where I am."

"Thank you for letting me know," your mother said, handing you a couple more cookies, "Which friend's house are you going to?"

You froze, a cookie halfway to your mouth as you realized that you didn't really know anyone at school. Instinctively you blurted out the first name that came to mind, "Uh, Sarah."

"Sarah? I don't think I know her." Your mother said, moving to the sink as she started washing the dishes she'd used to make the cookies.

"Uh, she's, um, new." you mumble.

"Oh, it's really good of you to help that new girl feel welcome." your mother replied, seeming to be intensely focused on trying to get a spot of her current dish.

You grabbed a couple more cookies, and left the kitchen before your mother could question you anymore about Sarah, lest you reveal that she was really some lady who put a curse on you. You closed your door behind you as you plopped down on the bed, finishing off your cookies. If you weren't careful, Rose wouldn't be the only one gaining weight. And from what you knew of girls, they were much more prone to weight gain if they weren't careful. Though, maybe it wouldn't be so bad to not be a twig.

You starred at the ceiling, trying to decide what to do with the rest of your day since you'd already decided that you were going to see Sarah tomorrow. You kind of had an urge to play some video games, but at the same time you were also interested in learning more about your new body. There were a few things you wanted to try that you couldn't as a boy. You also wouldn't mind having a few more of those cookies, and maybe a few other snacks. After all, you'd always been a little curious as to what it would be like to be a bit chubby.

You have the following choices:

1. Play Video Games

*Pen*
2. Experiment with body

3. A few thousand calories isn't necessarily a bad thing

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
