This choice: "What did you want to have for dinner?" • Go Back...Chapter #5"What did you want to have for dinner?" by: Unknown You were shocked by her question, especially after she just ate your little brother for dinner. You didn’t have much of an appetite anymore but you didn’t want to be rude, “Um… pizza please, ma’am.” Nancy pulled out a cellphone from her shirt pocket and dialed up a number, “Hello, Underworld Pizza? Can I have a Dragon-Sized Pizza, half with rodent and bird toppings, some worms too and…” She turned to look at you with a guilty look and turned back to the phone, “Other half should be plain please. 20 minutes? Thanks!”
She hung up the phone and turned back to you and shrugged, “Let’s see if anything good’s on?” She started flicking through channels but somehow they were much different than the regular tv channels. Most of the shows had monster actors and hosts, and had strange plots and names to them. Nancy seemed frustrated with the selection of shows on at the moment, rolling her eyes, “Ugh, how many times are they gonna reply the same Gargoyle of My Nightmares episodes over and over?”
Then the doorbell rang. Nancy got up off the couch, nearly swinging her huge tail at you as she slithered to the door. Once she opened the door she was greeted by a teenage ogre guy. You couldn’t believe what you were seeing. She tipped him and she was on his way as Nancy slithered her way back into the living room, opening the box of pizza up, “Yum, yum! I best this tastes better than your little brother!” Half the pizza looked appetizing and the other half with the ‘toppings’ looked absolutely disgusting.
You both started eating your sides of the pizza while a show about a Gargoyle dating a Witch in an apartment in the hip town of Transylvania played. You looked up to Nancy munching on some dead-bird and dead-rat encrusted pizza and looked down to the bulge your brother made in her tail, “Ms. Nancy… you’re not gonna digest my brother are you?” Nancy nearly choked on her pizza as she chuckled, “What? No! I’m a monster but I’m not evil! Granted, you humans really aren’t good for much aside from being a filling monster snack… but I’d never kill someone, even if they are a snot-nosed brat.” She gave her stomach bulge a good slap and a teasing laugh. Nancy returned to munching on her pizza, as your worries subsided.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
