Stand and fight!

You pick what is quite possibly the dumbest option, you’re going to fight it. You run across your room and grab the hockey stick you used for Junior Hockey. Dave squeals, “What are you doing?” You groan, “I’m gonna fight it!” Dave shrieks, “You can’t fight it. It’s gonna kill us!” You turn to your little brother and put your hand on is shoulder, in any other situation he’d just be a pest but you knew he was genuinely scared, “Don’t worry. I promise I’ll protect you.” Dave tears up as the avian beast smashes it’s way through your door.

THUD! THUD! SMASH! The monster barrels through the door and leers down at you two. You swing your hockey stick back and forth at it, “Back monster! Back! The chicken eyes your weapon, lazily bobbing it’s neck too and fro to avoid it. Then it launched it’s beak outwards and snapped it’s beak onto your hockey stick, ripping it out of your hands and snapping it in half. You were petrified, but knew you had to do something. Maybe you could fight it? Your mom did pay for those two months of karate lessons, maybe they’ll pay off?

You lunged at the chicken’s abdomen, kicking and punching at it. The un-phased chicken simply smirked at your pathetic attack and kicked you across the room and into your bed. You were temporarily dazed as the chicken monster set its sights on your little brother. Dave grabbed a teddy bear and huddled into the corner, clutching it tightly. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he whimpered lightly, “Don’t, don’t, please no, don’t.” The chicken could care less, he was just really hungry, and Dave looked absolutely tasty. Meanwhile, downstairs Jenny was rubbing her own stomach and licking her lips, “This is amazing. Such tasty fear, keep fighting you two.” The chicken opens it’s beak nice and wide, giving your little brother a nice little preview of the chicken’s horrid breath and hungry gullet. The monster bird lunged it’s open beak at Dave and…
