Now wasn't the time to get too focused on the weight gain issue, as it was lunch time, one of the only times of the day when Shiro didn't have to be ready for someone to come in for a checkup and was able to be by herself. Obviously she didn't have people coming in to her office all the time but she still had to be ready for emergencies, and she had learnt that lunch was one of those times where the staff and students were too busy eating to have any time to come to see the nurse.
Even though she had free time she had made a habit of spending it alone in her office eating her self-made lunch. She did this mainly to avoid the large quantities of food the academy "offered" and also she hadn't really been able make friends with the other staff at the school, mainly because she felt out of place and kinda uncomfortable around the heavily obese women of the Buttercombe.
Looking around the now empty room while picking up some pens that had fallen when Ginny had hopped down. After getting up and placing down the pens she had a quick glance at one of the pill bottles on her desk. She had been giving these to the students and staff who've come to her office ever since she started working here but didn't really know what exactly they were. The only thing on the bottle was the Yeng Corporation logo and the instruction that they should be used for digestion problems.
Quickly looking away from the bottle to her bag where she had her container of food. Thinking that if she wanted to get anything done today she needed to eat something. The food she had made for herself today was a sandwich with a side of some salad. It was getting surprisingly hard to make her healthier foods with her lack of free time and Buttercombe's restriction on getting food from the outside, but she had managed this far. While getting to her bag she took a quick look at herself on the mirror that stood opposite of her desk. She looked so thin on the massive mirror that usually was hidden behind the massive students who came for checkups.
Before opening her bag Shire started thinking about of her coworkers and how she only saw them when they came in to the office for mandatory checkups. She didn't really know any of the teacher or the other staff that well, but some of them had seem very nice when she had the change to talk to them. She remembered how some of them had even asked her to get something to eat with them, but she had declined at the time. Maybe if she went to lunch with them she could learn more about them, then just their weight. Like did anyone here have any hobbies or talents other then getting fat. Some of them might even stick to their diets if they were friends with the nurse.
Shiro took a look at the container of food and thought that if she went to the cafeteria for lunch instead maybe she could socialize with someone. It couldn't be that dangerous to eat the food everyone was pigging down, right? Or she could just stay in her office like she had done everyday before.
