You stare at the set of tube-like devices. Each tube a control panel halfway up that you could not see from here. Of the five tubes, there was only one that had been broken out of. You were unable to see through the glass of the intact tubes, but that was fine. Obviously, those tubes must still contain more Type: Nulls.
You make your way over to the broken tube, which must have been Null's, and gaze up. With all the plates, components, and what not, you think you can see a path up to the panels. If you could get up to them, maybe you could release the remaining Type: Nulls? There was no guarantee they'd be friendly, but maybe having a friend would make Null a little nicer?
With a shrug, you begin to climb. Handhold by handhold, foothold by foothold. It was an easy climb with plenty to grab on to. Still... it was eerie how quiet it was. Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of sound? Even a hum would have sufficed. Instead, there was nothing.
Before long, you heaved a heavy breath as you pulled yourself up to the edge of Null's panel. Instead of immediately looking at the panel, you lay there and rest for a moment. After a moment to gather your breath, you look up. The panel is flickering and inconsistent, but you manage to make out the words, 'ERROR! CONTAINMENT BREACHED! SUBJECT STATUS: UNKNOWN.'
Upon being told this info, you begin to follow the tube around to where it met the next one. Continuing onward, you soon arrive at this tube's panel, which read, 'CRITICAL ERROR! SUBJECT STATUS: DECEASED.' You stare at it for a moment, then hurry to the next one. However, it also reads, 'CRITICAL ERROR! SUBJECT STATUS: DECEASED.' As does the next one.
With one tube left, you strangely find yourself hesitant to to check it. What if it said the same thing? You'd be in the same situation as you were before, but it would feel different, knowing that there had been more Type: Nulls, but somehow Null alone survived. Eventually, you stopped in front of the last tube's panel and look up.
