You keep a safe distance behind, admiring her. She wore shorts, a T-shirt, and flip flops. She didn't strike you as a bookworm and her footwear didn't imply that she planned on doing a ton of walking. She was probably going to meet someone in the café in the back. You use this information and strategically create a bit more space between the two of you.
You pick up a book and concentrate. It shrinks to roughly the size of a penny. You concentrate again and it once again returns to its original size. You look around and note the lack of people inside before trying it on yourself.
The world around you expands, but you manage to concentrate on keeping your clothes the same size as you. You're roughly six inches tall. You concentrate again and the world around you grows smaller until you're back to you're original height. It's getting easier and easier to use this power.
You weave your way through the book shelves and toward the café. The woman is sitting at a table at the far end, her gorgeous tanned and toned legs folded while she sipped a latte. She checked her phone with an annoyed look on her face. She was expecting someone. It wouldn't be a first date, given the venue and her casual wear. Maybe it wasn't even a date, maybe she was just meeting a friend. Or maybe you were reading to deeply into her phone etiquette.
Regardless, it was time for the moment of truth. You concentrate really hard on shrinking her, with her clothes on, but leaving the paper cup at normal size. Can't leave behind any evidence.
You approach the table as casually as possible and scoop up the tiny supermodel into your fist, stuffing her into your pocket before the five inch tall woman knew what was happening. You take a swig of her coffee. Vanilla. It was actually pretty good. You decide to take it with you.
There were no articles of clothing or jewelry left behind, it was like she had disappeared. Even the barista had been occupied with something else.
Do you take your captive somewhere else or do you wait and see who was supposed to show up?
